"Baby you look gorgeous," Dwayne said coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist. I smiled at him. True to my word I had come over after taking my nap to get ready for today's first day of working at a office. I could tell Dwayne was excited.

Even though he was apprehensive at first about me Jacob being on the hallway and the rest of them he eventually came around to it. He seemed to realize that Jacob at least meant no harm towards me or our relationship.
I smoothed my skirt down. "You don't think I look pudgy?" I asked looking at my reflection. I ran my hand over my stomach.

Not at all," he said.

I rolled my eyes, not sure if he would tell me the truth anyway. I mean the weight I was gaining wasn't noticeable to anyone but me...well I take that back because Miranda and Rayne seemed to notice it too the last time I saw them. I pouted a bit. "What do you know Goldie Locks," I said.

"I know that my baby is the most beautiful girl in the world and there's no one around that's like her," he whispered into my neck as his grip tightened.

I smiled. "Good answer," I said. I felt him begin to kiss on my neck and I knew where this was headed. I had to stop it before it got there.
"Nope! You gonna mess around and make me late for work and considering that this is my first day , I can't show up late," I said popping his hand. Now it was his turn to pout. I laughed.

"Don't worry sweetie. You'll have all the time in the world to get some AFTER tonight is a success."
"Good. And I'm gonna tear it up too," he said smacking my ass. I smiled at him and then looked back at the mirror nervously.

He was walking towards the door and turned back to look at me. "What's wrong?" he asked when he noticed that I wasn't following him.
"I just....I feel like something is going to happen tonight. I mean Bryon is cool and even Jacob is," I said watching him tense up at the sound of Jacob name.

Even though Jacob and I had rarely talked and and only seen each other when it pertained to business, I could tell Dwayne was still uncomfortable with him.

I guess I can understand. Jacob was someone I was close to, someone I slept with, someone who knew me intimately. I kept moving like I didn't notice. "But your cousin is going to be there and so isJudi and with.." I said, but Dwayne stopped me by walking over and kissing my lips.

"Baby, stop worrying so much. My cousin is crazy but she can't be that damn stupid." I gave him a look like he must've forgotten who he is was talking about. "Okay, let me just say this. Run your race and do what you do. Kill em by shittin on them tonight with this kindness."

I sighed and nodded allowing him to take my hand and lead me out of the bedroom getting in the car ready for school.
