"WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT BOY?" xiomara paced around her, erika, and gia's usual lunch table.
it seemed like gavin had been avoiding her all day. she had seen him in the hall a couple of times and waved, only for him to just stare at her and then look away.
"i swear, if he's avoiding me because he doesn't want to go to prom with me, i will-" the girl was cut off by her phone notification sound going off. it was a text from gavin.
gavin | Hey X :) gavin| Will you go to prom with me ?
"that little whore just asked me to prom over text!" she shoved her phone in erika and gia's faces.
"oh my god. that is such a bitch move from him." erika shook her head.
xiomara typed a reply, despite being overwhelmingly angry, she had to remember that her ufb was most likely to go to prom with gavin, and she didn't want to be a ghost for eternity trying to lamely haunt people.

"mara," gia had the biggest smile on her face, looking to somewhere behind her, "look."
xiomara turned around to see gavin holding a poster board, along with a bouquet of white roses and an envelope.

xiomara hugged gav as erika and gia cheered.
the murmer of confused surrounding students could be heard, some of them even laughing.
after mara let go and gav handed her the flowers, gav looked around.
why was everyone laughing at them?
xiomara saw gavin's wondering face.
she grasped his face in both of her hands and kissed him, catching him off guard.

"BE SO FUCKING FOR REAL." xiomara laughed; her and gavin were now hanging out at his house, "i know you don't think i'm an angel."
"i mean, you are sometimes."
xiomara gave him a 'be for real' look.
"you could be if you wanted."
"lol okay." xiomara rolled her eyes jokingly.
"i know you did not just say 'lol' out loud." gavin laughed.
"you should hear erika and gia talk," the girl laughed, "they say shit like that out loud all the time."
