A special military plane had landed in Japan, and a young girl with tied blue hair and brown eyes came out. She was assigned to the AST squad, where she quickly met Origami, who was not excited, and something put her off about the newcomer.
That's why she invited her to a mock battle. But really, Mana intended to do the same. Captain Kusakabe initially declined, but her superiors permitted the girls to do so. Filled with pride and certainty, the girl allowed Origami to call upon aid. Origami thought it reckless to allow oneself to be swarmed, so she called on nine other girls from her squad.
They picked out the ruined block and began the mock battle. Mana had defeated all nine of Origami's reinforcements, as they stood against each other, alone. The girl grinned, as Origami maintained her cold expression, albeit looking a little annoyed. She readied her energy blade.
"How gallant. I like your attitude. Murakumo Sword Style!"
Her sword surged with energy.
"Now!" said Origami, as she flew at the girl.
She dispatched her suit, sending it flying at the girl.
"Weak!" she said.
Origami flew back using her boots and plunged her blade at the girl. As it almost touched the skin, an energy wave stopped it, as if pushing back, making the hit impossible.

"Too bad. Checkmate!"
Their suits buzzed, as Origami flew down. An announcement voice started speaking.
"The match is over. Second Lieutenant Takamiya Mana wins."
Back at the AST HQ, Kusakabe was spectating, and grinned.
"She totally dominated in a ten-on-one match. I guess that's what you'd expect from a girl who's killed a Spirit."
Origami and Mana were taken back to the AST HQ, as the squad recuperated. Then, Mana and Kusakabe entered the room, as Mana faced the squad with her signature smile.
"You should go ahead and introduce yourself properly this time..." said Kusakabe.
"I'm Second Lieutenant Takamiya Mana. Pleased to meet you all."
"All right, well done!" said Kusakabe, as she walked up to her and hit her with her notebook.
She then walked up to Origami and did the same, as they wheezed in pain.
"You guys... Why would you destroy valuable equipment in a mock battle?"
"I'm sorry," apologised both.
"That little girl is the ace of the JGSDF?" asked one of the girls in the crowd.
"Be more careful next time!" said Kusakabe.
Origami sat back down.
"I'll be showing footage from our last battle against the Hermit... or most of it, anyway. Take a seat somewhere."
