Shido walked home as the evening set with a slow, energy less pace. When he made it to his house, Tohka was standing by the house, concentrating on her thoughts.
"Tohka..." said Shido, surprised.
"Shido!" responded Tohka, as if snapped out of her trance.
"Is your hand okay?" she faintly smiled.
"Yeah."
"Great. Let's go then."
She took his hand and began leading him away.
"Woah, what's up with you?"
"Let's continue our date!"
She led him into the bakery where he got her the soy flour bread on their first date, and then around all the other stores and stands he took her around. In the process, she got him the same food as well.
"Th-Thanks," he said until it seemed like she was done.
"That one next!" she suddenly said.
"Hey..."
She led him into the fancy restaurant, and the original overkill course was there once again. Shido looked nervously at her.
"Tohka, I don't have much cash on me, so..."
"No need to worry! Reine lent me her magic card!"
"The Black Card?" he sighed.
By the time they were done, it was night. The crescent moon shined upon the night sky.
"Hey, the castle is gone," she said, as they walked through the south of the station.
"Oh well, then let's go to the arcade!"
"Hey, what are..."
He realised something.
"Isn't this where we had our first date?" he asked.
"Yup," she responded, smiling.
They walked all the way over to the playground, from which they could see the entirety of Tengu city. They looked out from the ledge.

"Reine told me about them, Kurumi, and Mana."
"I see. I must stop Kurumi from killing any more people."
"Yeah."
"But I'm not sure I really know how to talk to her. Kurumi may be a Spirit, but she's too different from you and Yoshino."
"She's not different at all, Shido," she said with determination.
"Huh?"
She took his hand.
"Kurumi is the same as us. The same as me. You were there for me. You saved me. With things like today's date, you showed me the brighter side of the world. If it weren't for you, I may have turned out like Kurumi."
