After of almost eight years being gone, Hugo had the strangest feeling as he stepped out of his Escalade parked just outside of his father's mansion.

Despite everything that happened between him and his father, Hugo couldn't help but feel sadness and regret for not patching things up. He is aware of how much his father has gone through ever since their mother walked out on them when Hugo was only twelve years old and his brother, Paolo, was only three. Although he hated the fact that his father had distanced himself ever since and spent most of his time working instead of spending time with him and Paolo, he knows that his father did his best.

What threw him off however is his sudden marriage with Lillian Valdez who is now Lillian Valdez de Berenguer. Even now, he still could not believe that his father married Lillian, considering she's the only woman he was attracted to more than just sex. It felt like a direct stab, a direct stab from his father which is even worse. He did not even know that the two were involved. Yes, she was his personal assistant but he did not think they had a deeper relationship than professional level.

"Hugo, are you ready?"

To be honest, Hugo should not have been as hurt. It was not like they have been together for five years. Damn, 2 months maybe? Yet he was and God knows why. Fortunately, eight years have passed and this meeting should not be a big deal.

Not at all.

Next to him was Andrea, with a smile filled with shyness on her face.

A lot of people have been asking him why he has not pursued Andrea romantically. Ever since they were little, they have been inseparable and

best of friends. Andrea has been there all through out, from thick through thin, especially during one of the most difficult moments of his life when he had to give up his dreams once again, sell his soccer team in the US so he can move to Spain and start all over again.

She has been with him through good times and bad times. Hugo has thought about it. He also feels like he is in the right age to settle down.

Although their relationship has always been strictly platonic, maybe it is about time he give it a shot.

"Hugo! Andeng!"

Hugo's younger brother Paolo was walking towards them with a huge smile on his face. It has been a while since they have last seen each other. Paolo decided to stay in the Philippines to help his father run the business and just like their father, he's turned into the biggest workaholic.

"Pao! Kumusta?" Hugo opened his arms wide the hugged his brother quick but tight.

"Eto busy pa din. I'm so glad to finally see you guys after a couple of years. Hindi man lang kayo bumisita dito." Paolo said.

As he turned towards Andrea, he smiled and added, "Oh my goodness, hanggang ngayon wala paring nagababago. Te ves muy linda, Andeng."

Andrea rolled her eyes, "Ay por favor. No digas tonterías. Baka ikaw! Hanggang ngayon ang gwapo gwapo mo pa din. I can't believe na wala ka pa ding asawa. And stop calling me Andeng, you know much I hate it."
