The megaphone blared over the sound of the wind and waves. They talked fast and in Spanish, I was sure they were calling us idiots for being out in the weather, but I left the translating to Manuel. I saw another boat behind it and tried to relax. Praying there were here to help. Matthew was spewing swear words left and right, frantically waving the gun around. Manuel was still hiding his son, but he stood up to grab the radio. Before he could say much a shot rang out behind me again and blasted the radio. Manuel dropped, screaming out, and covered his son again. I looked back at the boat and watched them scramble as Matthew started firing off at them.

Matthew was frantic as he continued to shoot at the boats. When all the bullets were gone he started to shout. I stayed crouched down not wanting to draw attention to myself. Manuel and his son stayed out by his chair hiding. I could hear his poor son crying even over the sound of the wind. It was picking up and the waves were getting stronger. If the boat turned any more to either side we would surly flip over or at least start to flood. I could hear Matthew screaming while he searched for his phone. I knew he was truly freaking out because he was caught now. He turned and ran down the steps, I knew this was our moment.

I jumped up quickly and ran to Manuel. I grabbed his arm and tried to calm him down when he flinched at my touch.

"Please! You have to jump. Swim to them! Get off!" I shouted at them. Manuel just looked at me with wild eyes and his son started to hiccup.

"I no swim," his son said in between hiccups. I looked around and sighed. I knew we only had seconds left before Matthew either found his phone or came looking up here again.

"What's your name?" I asked him.

"Diego," he said.

"Look, Diego, you have to get off the boat. He will be back any second. If you have a lift jacket, can you make it?" I asked him.

He looked at me for a moment and then nodded. I looked around franticly and saw one on the couch. I moved as quickly as I could with the boat rocking even harder now. I heard banging down the stairs and I knew that Matthew was coming back. I grabbed it quickly and turned to run back when a hand grabbed my ankle and I fell down.

"Oh no you don't!" Matthew yelled.

With all my strength I thew the life jacked towards the door and screamed "GO" at them. I saw Manuel's hand grab it and seconds later I heard an extra splash. I prayed to every God I could think of that they would make it.

"NO! What have you done!" Matthew shouted as he put the pieces together. His captain was now gone and there was no one to drive the boat.

"You realize you just killed his family, right?" he asked me his voice full of hatred.

I could feel him crawl up me and I turned my head to look back at him. I shouldn't have because his fist connected with my face. Pain erupted all over my head. It was agonizing and I quickly gave over to the darkness.

We had found the boat pretty easily. It was the only boat sailing right now. It took Peter a while to convince the police there to help us but once the U.S Coast Guard came by they were a little more willing to help. Even though I could see Katie I still knew that she wasn't safe. The fact that I could not see Nick filled me with worry. The rain was heavy and our boats were not in any shape to protect us from the weather.

"We are going to stop back here and get our men in the water. Any closer and he could see what we are doing," Hudson said behind me.

He didn't have much time to plan this. Hudson and his team had gotten there maybe 15 minutes before we left on the boat. Tristan has worked with this man and trusts him enough with this. It was just our luck that when Tristan called him he was already in Mexico with his team. The plan was to dive and get on board to overtake Matthew. The way things were looking though.... I had a gut feeling something was very wrong.
