6. Chapter: Waking up at the Lynch's

Svenja's POV:

I woke up and looked at my phone because it was still dark outside. It was 1am and because I knew I couldn't sleep I took out my book, the only thing that I had here, and went into the living room. I didn't want to wake up Becky and Chi by turning on light. I sat down and started reading. After a while I felt something on my shoulder and I shrieked back. I turned around to see Ryland standing behind me.

„Sorry, I didn't want to scare you", he said with an apologizing voice.

„It's okay. Don't worry", I smiled at him and he smiled back.

He has such an amazing smile. Wait, what am I talking about? I can't be in love with him. He will never like me like that.

He sat down beside me which snapped me out of my thoughts.

„So, what'cha doin' down here?", he asked me curious.

„I couldn't sleep anymore. Always when I wake up in the night I read because I can't go to sleep straight away again. And you?"

„I also woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. Then I got bored and came down here."

We started talking a bit and then he suddenly started to lean in a bit, looking into my eyes. I automatically also started leaning in even though my brain was trying to figure out what was happening. We were so close and only inches apart that I could already feel his breath when somebody came running down the stairs and we both pulled back. Rocky came in the room, looked at both of us and started grinning.

„What are you guys doing down here?"

„We were both not able to sleep."

„Both of you?"

„Yes, Svenja was already down here when I came down."

„Ah, okay", Rocky said still grinning.

„And what about you?"

„I also couldn't sleep and wanted to drink something."

He went into the kitchen and we could hear him get something to drink. Then he came out again.

„I'm going to bed again and you two can continue with whatever you were doing", he said winking at us. He went upstairs and left us in an awkward silence. After a few minutes I broke the silence.

„I think I'm gonna go back to bed again. I'm really tired." I slowly got up.

„Yeah, good idea. We should try to get some more sleep." He also got up and we walked upstairs. When we came to the guest door I was sleeping in we said good night again and went into our rooms. I lay down in bed thinking about what just had happened. While thinking about it, I fell asleep.

Rebekah's POV:

I woke up and looked around. I didn't know where I was and I couldn't see anything familiar except for Chi's jacket. As I looked to see where I was without getting out of the bed I saw my phone and a note on the bedside table. I first looked at my phone to see that it was 12am and then looked at the note:

Hey Becky,

in case you're wondering: You're in a guest room at the Lynch's. We also slept here but already woke up earlier. We went home to change and we're bringing new clothes back for you. Stormie said she'll make you breakfast when you wake up and the others should also all be there.

I had to laugh. These girls knew me too well to not write me a note. I got out of bed and looked in the mirror. I decided that I didn't look to bad to go out of the room. So I went out of the room and nearly ran into Ross who was just passing the door.

„Oh, sorry", I blushed and looked down straight away.

„It's okay. Good morning. Do you always sleep so long?", he asked me laughing but winked at me.

„Sometimes. Depends on the day and where I am", I answered grinning and Ross also grinned.

„Come on. Mum will probably make you some breakfast", he said and walked towards the stairs. I followed him and we went into the kitchen where we found Stormie.

„Good morning, Sweetie. Did you sleep well?", Stormie smiled at me.

„Good morning. Yes, thanks", I also smiled. They really were all so nice.

„Do you want some pancakes? I just finished some."

„Yeah, that would be nice."

Stormie got out a plate and put a few pancakes on it. She put the plate in front of a seat.

„Thanks", I smiled at her and sat down.

„You're welcome, Sweetie."

Ross sat down beside me and also took some pancakes.

„Ross, you already ate", Stormie said in a played strict voice but smiled.

„But they are so delicious and I can't let Rebekah eat something all by herself", he grinned cheekily which made Stormie and me laugh.

Ross and I finished our pancakes and Ross put our plates away because Stormie had left the room.

„Do you know when Chi and Svenja left and when they'll be back?", I asked Ross because I didn't like the silence that threatened to happen.

„About 40 minutes ago. I don't know how long you girls need to get ready but I guess they'll be back soon."

Just when he finished saying that, the doorbell rang. He went to open it and Chi and Svenja came in. We went upstairs and I got ready. After that we met all the Lynches in the living room except for Ross because he was meeting his girlfriend and we played a few games. In the late afternoon we left and went home.

How can you add more than one picture? I can only put one picture for every chapter. Can anybody tell me how this works? That would be nice :)
