Why exactly me? (R5, Ross Lynch, Ryland Lynch)

1. Chapter: New Friend

Rebekah's POV:

On a Monday morning I went into my class room, sat down and started to talk with my friends. A few minutes later our teacher came into the room with a boy. He was really handsome and good-looking. His name was Ryland and he originally came from Littleton, Colorado. He was 17 years old and he had already moved here with his family a long time ago but had gone to another school or not to school at all.

There was a free place next to me, so our teacher told Ryland to sit next to me. Then he started to write a page and a number on the board.

"Hey, can I look into your book with you? I don't have a book yet."

"Yeah, sure. Oh, and I'm Rebekah but everybody calls me Becky"

"Nice to meet you, Becky. You can also call me Ry", He smiled at me.

"Nice to meet you too", I also smiled.

He smiled at me again and then looked at the number we were supposed to do. The lesson took forever but then it was finally over. In the break I asked him if I should show him our school and he agreed.

"Hey, Becky. I'm gonna join my sister in this break, so I'll leave you two alone. Is that ok?"

Svenja had talked with us for a short time but now went off to find her sister and because Chi had an appointment at the doctor's she wasn't here either.

"Yeah, sure", I turned to Ryland.

"She seems nice."

"Yeah, she is. So, wanna start our tour of the school?"

"Yeah, let's go."

"Wait, can I see your schedule?''

"Yes, of course.''

"Our schedule is pretty much the same. Let's go to the biology rooms first because that's where we have our next lesson", I told Ryland.

"Yeah, good idea."

I showed him every building and explained which rooms there are. On our way through the school I saw many girls staring at him. While we were walking we talked and asked each other stuff about different things. That's how I found out that he had 3 older brothers and one older sister who all had a band with their best friend which is why Ryland sometimes didn't go to school since he went with them on tour and is a DJ himself.

Just when I finished showing him the school the school bell rang. We went to the biology room where we had our next lesson.

Our biology teacher already knew that we had a new boy in our class.

"Welcome, Ryland. I hope you have had a good start and I hope you're good at biology", our teacher smiled and you could see that it was just a little joke.

"You should know that he always tells us jokes but mostly they're not funny", I whispered over to Ryland.

"Yeah, I kinda just noticed", he whispered back. In biology there was no free place next to me so he had to sit next to Madison who we all just call Maddy and is also one of my friends. The whole biology lesson over Ryland and I tried to communicate with hand signs but it didn't really work.

"Ryland, are you listening?", our teacher wanted to know.

"Yes, of course, Mr. McCloud."

"So what was I just saying?"

"You asked how the genetic lines look like."

"Do you also know the answer?"

"Yes, indeed I do, Mr. McCloud, but I thought you are the teacher here not me. And I really hope that you also know the answer", Ryland said and everybody in the class laughed. I also started giggling and held my hand in front of my mouth. Mr. McCloud didn't look very happy but he went on with the lesson. The lesson went on till the bell rang.

After school Ryland joined Chi, Svenja and me.

"Hey, Ryland. What are you doing in the afternoons and what are your hobbies?", Svenja asked him.

"Oh, I like doing sports and I love watching movies but of course I love music, DJing and going on tour with my family. I also often go to the beach and surfing with my buddies and siblings."

"Talking of your siblings and going on tour, what is your siblings' band name?", I asked.

"R5", I stared at him in disbelief and he grinned.

"Wait, THE R5? So, you're Ryland LYNCH?"

"Eh, yes?", Ryland grinned but at the same time was surprised.

"OMG. Of course why didn't I recognize you? I love R5 and your DJing!", I got really excited. I can't believe I didn't recognize him.

"Becky, calm down", Svenja and Chi laughed but also seemed a bit excited since I had also made them to fans. Not as big fans as me and Svenja a bit more than Chi but still.

Ryland started laughing, "Well, now you know", he said and winked. "I bet you wanna meet my siblings now too, don't you?"

"Well, I'd love to but I don't wanna annoy or bother them. So, if we meet sometime and we bump into them then you can introduce me but you don't have to arrange a meeting or anything." I really meant it. I don't wanna be one of the really bad fangirls but at the same time I didn't have anything against meeting them.

Ryland's POV:

I just had to smile, "Okay. Maybe we'll see them sometime."

I noticed how excited Becky was and saw that she was wearing a R5 necklace. I just had to smile. She was cute but not my type but she would fit perfectly to my brother Ross if he wasn't together with this annoying girl Vivian. I don't understand why he likes her. None of my siblings do-

"Ryland?", Chi waved her hand in front of my face.

"Oh, sorry. What did you say?", I hadn't noticed that they had said something.

"We should probably go home because Becky's parents are waiting. We all wanted to go to a restaurant together", Chi repeated herself.

"Oh, yes. Of course. Then you should probably go."

"Okay, bye. See you on monday." All of them said and I also said bye to them.

"Hey guys. Wait a sec. Can we exchange phone numbers." At least then we could still chat with each other later.

"Oh, yes. Sure." Becky gave me hers and I gave her mine. "I'll send you the other phone numbers later because we really need to get going."

"Okay, thanks. See you tomorrow."

They headed home and I also slowly walked home.

If anyone has an idea for songs for any of the chapters tell me and I might add a song. I never really find any songs so I'm open to ideas :)
