Why exactly me? (R5, Ross Lynch, Ryland Lynch)

10. Chapter: End of the party

Ross' POV:

„Maybe we should call dad. He knows that we're here and said if we need anything we should call him", Riker said after we had all sat on the couch trying to think of something.

„Yeah, I think we should", Delly agreed and Rebekah shyly nodded. I think she didn't want to bother my parents with that but also saw it as the only way out.

Riker went outside to call dad while we just sat there watching everyone. I saw Ryland and Rocky starting to get mad at all the people because they were throwing around their rubbish and made a mess. Daniel looked really really angry. Probably because it were his friends who had the idea of crashing the party. I also started getting mad just because nobody had respect for Rebekah and her house and also broke a few plates.

Riker came back after a few minutes and told us that dad was on his way.

We waited for him to arrive and he soon came into the house. When he saw us he came over to us.

„Are you guys okay? What exactly happened?"

„Yeah, we're fine. We invited about 15 people and then suddenly 40 more people came a bit later and just crashed our little party which was kinda just a few friends hanging out together but then turned into this", Chi explained to him and pointed at all the people dancing.

„Okay, then let's get everyone out."

My dad went over to the stereo and turned off the music.

„Everyone get out right now! If you don't leave straight away I'll call the police!"

At first everyone was just looking at my dad but then started to get out really quickly.

After everyone had left my dad came back over to us.

„Thanks daddy", Delly said while hugging him and he hugged back.

„Thank you. I'm really sorry that we bothered you", Rebekah said a bit embarrassed.

„Don't be. It's okay. I had said to Riker to call me if you need anything. And since your parents aren't here to help at the moment I'm glad I could help", my dad answered and gave Rebekah a short hug.

„If you three need anything while your parents are gone don't be afraid to ask us. We'll be happy to help you", he said to Rebekah, Chi and Svenja. They nodded thanking him.

„Okay, guys. Do you wanna come home now or stay a bit longer?"

„I think we'll stay and help clean up", Ryland said.

„Okay. See you guys later."

After my dad had left we got up and started to pick up the rubbish and the stuff that had landed on the floor.

Rebekah's POV:

We all started cleaning up. R5, Ryland and the others we originally had invited helped us. After we had cleaned the living room for a while I went into the kitchen to get new trash bags. When I turned around Daniel was standing there.

„Hey, I'm sorry about that. I didn't know they were going to do that or I would've done something about it."

„It's okay. I know you didn't have to do something with this", I smiled at him and he weakly smiled back.

„I'm still really sorry."

I laughed. „Quit apologizing. Let's go back to clean up."

Daniel grinned and we went back into the living room where all of us continued cleaning until we were finally finished at 10pm. Everyone left except for the Lynch's and Ratliff.

„So do you still want to do something since this finished earlier than we had planned or not?", Svenja asked sitting on the couch.

„I don't mind if we still do something but I don't know if you guys wanna go home or not", Chi said.

„We'd stay a bit longer", Rocky said after looking at everyone. We all laughed and started talking. We talked for about an hour and then watched a movie. In the middle of the movie I noticed that the light in our cottage outside was still on.

„I'm going outside and turn of the light in our cottage. It's still on", I said while standing up.

„Wait, shouldn't somebody go with you? I know it's only in your garden but your garden is huge and you have to walk a bit to get to the cottage and it's already dark and late", Riker stopped me by holding my arm.

„I'll go with her, Riker. I've already seen the movie and could use some fresh air", Ross got up and walked to the door leading to our garden.

I followed him and we went outside and slowly walked in the direction of the cottage. It was cooler than I had thought it was and I kinda felt a bit uncomfortable because of the cold and the awkward silence.

„You have a really big garden", Ross suddenly said which made me jump. „Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to scare you", he said trying not to laugh.

„Laugh as much as you want...Yeah, my parents earn a lot of money and they wanted to have a big garden."

„Well, I think it's awesome. You can take walks in your own garden and don't have to go anywhere else."

„Yeah, it is pretty cool."

„...Are you cold? You look really cold."

„Oh, no. I'm fine."

„Nope, your cold. I'm giving you my jacket and you can't do anything about it." Ross took of his jacket and put it over my shoulders.

„Thanks. But aren't you cold yourself now?"

„No, I'm fine. My shirt is pretty thick", we grinned at each other and then we were at the cottage. We turned off the lights and walked back. This time we walked a bit faster and didn't need so long to get to the house. We went back into the living room and sat on the floor since all the seats were taken. At about 2am the Lynch's and Ratliff went home and Svenja, Chi and I went to bed. As soon as I hit the pillow I fell asleep.
