13. Chapter: The Confession (2)

Svenja's POV:

"Of course I like him otherwise we wouldn't be friends", I tried to dodge the question.

"You know what I mean, Sven. Not just like but like-like", Becky scolded me with a duh tone and face which made me grin because she does that a lot.

"So...?", Chi said when I didn't answer.

"What?", I tried to get around the question in a stupid way as I realized a second later.

"Answer the question."

I didn't know what to answer. I honestly don't know if I like Ryland.

"I don't know. Maybe a little. I mean how could you not like his awesome brown hair, his cute face and just his personality. He's so sweet, caring and nice. Due to him having such a big family he is a real family guy and good with nearly anyone and...." I stopped realizing how I was just starting to daydream about him and saw how Becky and Chi looked at each other smirking and lightly nodding.

"Omg. I like Ryland", I said shocked.

Rebekah's POV:

When Svenja said that she likes Ryland, Chi and I just looked at each other knowingly. They already always in school looked at each other lovingly and shy. Even though we didn't know about the nearly-kiss we knew that something was going on. Now all Chi and I have to do is get Ryland to see it and that he has to make a move. Although that maybe still shouldn't happen too soon since we kinda just met him and I always find it stupid how people in stories or even real life get together after just a few days.

"That is so cute", Chi finally said.

"But remember you have only known him for like a week. Don't rush into things. Get to know him better first", I decided to tell her what I was thinking and Chi agreed.

"Gosh, do you really think I'd already do something?", Svenja laughed. "Anyway, I probably wouldn't make a move or anything if I already knew him for years."

"Yeah, okay. Me neither", Chi and I agreed.

"So, do you guys like anyone?", Svenja then asked.

"Nope but Becky here is probably crushing on Ross." I blushed.

"Okay, guys. You already knew that a month ago", I said laughing.

"But now you know him in person and it seems like you like him even more. Even though I didn't think that that was even possible", Svenja said.

"He has a girlfriend anyway and I respect that. So, it doesn't make a difference. I'll just be friends with him just like with everyone else."

"Probably the best idea. And Chi, you sure about not liking anyone? I saw how Rocky caught you when you fell off the ladder." Chi blushed.

"That was nothing."

"Wait, I said that as a joke but the way you're blushing I'm thinking that it's not", Svenja said wide-eyed.

"I don't like him. It was just sweet of him to catch me although I think he would've caught anyone. If I like anybody you two would be the first to find out."

"Okay", Svenja and I laughed.

We still didn't stop to talk about boys and especially the Lynch boys for a little longer. After a while we did change the subject though and after another hour we drove home. On our way home Svenja and I still couldn't help but tease Chi one more time.

"Hey Chi. Are you sure we shouldn't drop you at Rocky's so you can hang with him?", we grinned at her.

"You guys are so weird", Chi said laughing.

When we came home we did our homework and then went to bed.
