It's been a few weeks since Vic was saved from almost having to have her kids born in a prison, and what you might've missed was that christmas is coming around once more.
The last time we heard christmas in this book, I believe it was maybe 2024, and now it's almost 2026.

"Also set up Rose's bed, she passed out after I fed her and she is drooling down my shirt."
"You got it, hon," Ned smiles, setting up the bassinet first and gently placing his daughter in it. As he picks up the wrapping paper, he glances at Jayce.
"Uh, Vic. Jay found a new chew toy."
"Oh shhh...oot," she purses her lips and carefully take her phone from the child, replacing it with a teddy bear, which is basically the same size as Jayce.
