LANA LETS OUT a soft squeal and tucks her face into Corpse's neck. The man chuckles at her excitement, bending over her smaller frame to nuzzle his nose into her hair. His head spins at the scent of orange blossom hair products still lingering in her hair post-shower.
Lindsey watches them from the laundry room with soft eyes. A gentle smile pulls at lipgloss-lathered lips as she leans against the doorway.
Fitz nudges a cold nose across her ankle.
"What?" She looks down at him over her crossed arms.
Fitz remains sitting at her feet, tongue lolling from him mouth as he pants, a few pieces of grass stuck in the corners of his mouth. Lindsey sighs as she reaches out to pick the grass out, scrunching her nose in disgust at the slobber now coating her fingertips.
"You're so gross." Lindsey leans over the counter to the sink to wash her hands, flicking the excess water on Fitz's face. He sneezes and decides he no longer wants to be near her, trotting away to stick his nose in Marceline's business.
Marceline meows when Fitz gently boops her butt with his nose. She turns to look at him from the kitchen island chair, eyes curious. Fitz pants at her cluelessly, clearly still tired from his run.
