QUACKITY LAUGHS NERVOUSLY, shifting his weight foot to foot.
Foolish bumps his shoulder, a silent way of saying "I'm here, don't worry." It's meant to be comforting but it only makes Quackity more uneasy. He is one hundred percent certain if Lindsey suddenly decided to throw axes at him rather than a wooden board, Foolish would simply watch her, completely enamored, like he has been for the past three minutes.
The axe embeds itself an inch away from dead center, making it the fourth throw Lindsey's made within the range. Pleased with her performance, the brunette steps away to allow a nervous Tina to step up. Karl immediately giggles and begins throwing playful insults out.
Lindsey rejoins the group that had already gone (Quackity, Foolish, and Lana) with a smile.
"You scare me," Quackity blurts.
Normally Lindsey would be happy to hear this. People being scared of her means they'll leave her alone. Yet she finds her eyebrows pinching together, lips drawing down into a frown.
"Sorry?" she replies, voice thick with emotion. Scaring Quackity hadn't been her intention. She enjoys his company and finds him very funny. There is no reason for her to scare him away.
Quackity laughs at her reaction, diffusing the growing tension.
