Marriage

Rhaenyra left yesterday, she saw the boys back to Dragon Stone she told Alicent that she would be back after to see Viserys. She came to say goodbye to me, saying that I should stay and get to know Aemond more, I looked at her blankly and did not say anything. She does not deserve my words, me speaking to her would slightly clear her conscience which I do not wish to happen anytime soon.

I lie on the couch upside down staring at a painting trying to figure out what it looks like when my doors open. I immediately flip myself around and sit up.

I hear laughter, I see it's Alicent. "You remind me much of your mother from years ago." She smiles.

"I don't see that as a compliment." I state bluntly.

She stares at me sadly. "I know you're not happy with her, or me for that matter, but we must do this." she continues. "Viserys is dead."

"I knew that already, I heard the lady's speaking of it early this morning." I smile sadly to myself. "I had a feeling this would be our last time together."

There's a brief pause.

"I'm so sorry." She says before leaving.

"What?" I ask turning to see her leave from the doors. I hear a click. I rushed to the door, turning the handles, but they don't move. "Alicent!" I yell. "Alicent, what the hell!" I yell again.

"It is only a precaution my dear child. I will be back." She says. I can hear her heels clicking away.

"What in the absolute old kingdom fuck of fuckers is going on?" I whisper to myself walking over to the window to see loads of people rushing off somewhere.

A few moments later the doors open and I rush over. I'm pushed back by the knight while some lady's come in with a wedding gown.

"No." I say. "I'm not supposed to be getting married for another few months now." I laugh out of nervousness.

"There has been a change of plans." I turn to see Otto Hightower standing under the doors. "You are to marry Aemond today. In mere moments actually." he speaks.

"What the fuck." I say. "Are my brothers here? I want to see Lucerys" I insist.

"Your family is not here, they will come in days time." He says

No this is all wrong, I may hate my mother right now but this is something she would never do. Miss my wedding.

"Where's Aemond, does he know?" I ask.

"Yes, he is getting ready too." I scoff.

No fucking way am I getting married today, especially not wearing that piece of green trash.

"Get out. I will change myself." I say rushing the lady's and Otto out.

"You best not be thinking to jump out the window. That would hurt." He laughs before walking out and closing the doors.

"Fuck." I whisper before I yell "FUCK!"

I quickly ran over to my dresses. I grab the blackest of black gown that I own. Something about this isn't right. I can feel it in my bones. Something will go horribly wrong today.

After putting my dress on I fall to my knees and clasp my hands together. I pray to the gods that something will interrupt whatever nasty plan the Greens have brewing.

The doors burst open for like the millionth time today, surprised they're still handing on to the hinges. Two knights come and grab both of my arms, basically dragging me out of the room and down the palace halls.
