Love In The Dark - Re Writing!

Why

"Your family has taken everything from me!" She yells, I grab her arms holding them high above my head trying to disarm her.

"And now you take my boy?" She sounds like she's having a breakdown.

Aemond jumps down from Vhagar and pushes her off of me.

"Mother, stop it!" He yells. She doesn't listen and changes after me again.

Aemond holds up his sword in front of her so she can't move.

"You will not hurt my wife and you will most definitely not hurt my unborn child." He seethes.

She drops the arrow.

"Fine, You choose her? Fine." She raises her hands and turns around.

"When she gives birth to a child with black hair like her mother, don't come running back to me!" She yells.

"That's it." I say grabbing the arrow from the ground.

Before I can do anything Aemond grabs my arm and squeezes it until I drop it.

"She's my mother." He pleads.

I turn around and walk away from him.

"I'm not getting on that dragon." I tell him to walk away looking for Syrax.

I don't see him so I'm assuming they retreated.

Aemond and Vhagar fly over to me.

"Get on the damned dragon lady!" He yells.

"Fine!" I yell.

Once I get up I say. "I still don't like you." To the dragon and she just screeches and takes off.

We make it to Dragon Stone.

I get off of Vhagar and start walking, I notice that Aemond does not follow.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"I can't go with you. I killed your little brother. Stepping into that castle is a death wish for me." His face fills with guilt.

"You need to be with your family right now. I'll find my way back to you hopefully in months time." He says.

"There is a war to be fought and I am the one who's started it. I have to face the consequences, my love."

I stare up at him with sadness.

"Come back to me." I beg "I need you."

It's the truth that I need him. It feels like without him I have no air in my lungs, no water in my cup, and no blood in my heart.

"I will. Whether it be now, months from now, or in the heavens with the gods singing to us. I will come back for you. Always." He speaks his words with such power.

"I will see you in due time my love." He says before Vhagar takes flight into the sky.

I stare as I watch them fade in the distance.

I turn my head back to the castle and let the sun soak my skin.

Once I open my eyes I begin walking to the doors of my family's home.

I walk until I can find Jacaerys, sitting in his room.

"Hello brother." I say.

"Rhane?" He questions.

As he stands and walks over to me I say "No it's your grandmother coming back to warn you of your own stupidity." He looks at me like I've just spoken another language.

I smack his chest and pull him into an embrace.

"I have missed you." He says.

"I've missed you too, my boy." We hug for a bit longer and then his door opens and I'm bombarded with hugs.

It's mother and Daemon. They're squeezing the life out of me .

"Quit it, I can't breathe." I gasp out.

"How are you here? How did you get out?" They ask.

"Aemond." I say.

They start looking around as if looking for him.

"He's not here. He brought me here and now he's gone to make things right." I told them about what he told me had happened with Vhagar. They still absolutely hate him, as do I in a way, but now they understand it wasn't completely his fault.

After we have supper and catch up on things I walk into my chambers and lie in the covers.

That night I dreamt of Aemond and our child. We were living happily together here in Dragon Stone, where everyone forgave him and we lived happily. Of course these dreams always turn into nightmares. 

Authors Note - 

I'm so sorry I've been gone lol, just losing motivation to write this ALSO I really super duper hate my writing in this. I'll try and finish it. I also want to start writing an actual book and not just a fanfic. Like all my own original characters and an original plot. 

I'm thinking like a non traditional romance. Instead of the beginning of a relationship, I wanna right the ending of one and the realization of the female OC.
