It was a beautiful evening in November. Aarav was walking with his close friend Abhay towards the dormitories. The two of them said their goodbyes as they approached the fork in the road leading to their rooms.

"See you later."

"Alright, let's meet up tomorrow at the same time," Abhay shouted after walking some distance.

Just as Aarav turned to go to his room,

Aarav's POV

"Huh? Where did my door go?"

My door suddenly disappeared. As I checked my surroundings, I found that it wasn't the door but me who was gone from the dorms. I was in a strange pitch-black room.

"Where the hell am I? What's going on? Anybody here?" He shouted nervously.

Suddenly a voice chimed in my head.

'What? Am I dreaming? Or did I start hallucinating?'

A floating game-like panel in front of me scared me to the bone.

My deepest prayers went through my head as I looked closely at the floating window in front of me. There were seven options displayed on the floating game-like screen: Light, Ground, Fire, Water, Grass, Dark, and Lightning.

The voice reverberated again, providing me with the option to choose any two of the 7 seven attributes.

Carefully, I chose the last two attributes on this list, Dark and Lightning. I thought about what would happen if I chose any option.

[....][Compatibility Lightning-100%][Compatibility Dark-90%]

Cool, I don't know what that means, but 100% is always positive. Also, 90% is not bad. As I was thinking, I heard another voice.

[Choose a weapon]

"What the fuck, a weapon?" I cursed unintentionally.

In high school, I used to take fencing classes, so I chose a one-handed sword.

A simple steel sword appeared in my hands.
