It struck me after Vodrok introduced himself. These people are guild master Alice and her three vice-guild masters of the Central Order.
---------------------------------
"Hmm. No wonder you guys feel familiar. Central Order leaders, I see you on TV frequently. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you must be Bael, 3rd in the rankings. Right?" I said, pointing at the other guy. He nodded.
"Then, you two must be Tylsia and Alice. Cool." I said, pointing to the girls.
"Yeah, I'm Tylsia. Glad to meet you." Said the girl who slapped Vodrok. I nodded.
"I'm Alice. What about you?" Alice asked calmly.
"I'm Razor. I'm a mercenary." I introduced myself to the group.
"Razor? I've heard that name. Are you a mercenary from our guild?" Bael inquired.
"No, I'm not from your guild. It does happen that I got hired by a member of your guild, named Azoltar, to assist in dungeon raids recently." I explained. This time Vodrok spoke.
"Ah, I've heard about you. I was talking to Azoltar yesterday and he mentioned an S-rank mercenary who signed an exclusive contract with the guild. He always called him Mr. sword guy, though. That's you, right?" I nodded. I have to talk to Azoltar later about my name.
"Oh, that contract. So you made that? It was reasonably virtuous. Most mercenaries overprice things but you didn't." Bael added. I thanked him.
"Why didn't I hear about this contract?" Alice interrupted the conversation. Tylsia also had a quizzical expression on her face.
"It's a one-month contract with no losses from our side. I didn't think you needed to see it." Bael shrugged.
"It would have been better if you told me about it. What are the terms?"She asked me.
"Well, it's not that complex. I help your hunters clear a dungeon. According to the dungeon rank, I receive 200 to 300 Marrs and one item from the boss." I replied.
She thought about it for a second.
"Hmm, it is a pretty satisfying agreement."
We chatted for a while and then our orders arrived.
All four thanked the waitress while taking their orders.
"By the way, there's something I want to ask?" I asked Alice. She gestured for me to continue.
"I was wondering how you set up this huge guild in a month?" I have been curious about it for a while.
"That's all thanks to Alice. She became so strong that people in our neighbourhood wanted to join us. And since a party can't be that big, we made a guild." Tylsia replied.
"Wow, so you guys made a guild on a whim?" Alice nodded.
While we were talking, we heard a scream.
"AAAHHHHHHH."
Our weapons in hand, we rushed to where the scream came from. We found a blueish-coloured dungeon portal in the cafe's storage room. Studies have shown that blue represents a level 20-25 dungeon.
