Last night, I was shocked to see the boss room opening message, but I went to sleep because I was tired. Today, every news channel starts with the same message.
Also, the IPA has been digging through documents to figure out what happened with the mystery monster. So, I decided to lay low for a while to continue living my independent life. Even the IPA will have no idea since I sneaked inside the tower last night to catch the guardian.
'I guess it will all die down in a day or two. Finding the boss is much more important right now.'
"Aarav? Are you there?" Abhay knocked on my door.
"Yeah, coming." I replied and walked over to the door. On the other side was my friend holding a bag in his hands.
"What's that?" I asked.
"It contains the items that were dropped by the Guardian yesterday. You said to keep it so we could split it later. We also got some pretty good items from killing the slimes on the way back. One of the gaurdian drops is even a C-rank."
"Ah yes! the drops we got. You obviously studied them all night. Tell me how we are going to split the loot?" I had brightened his face and he was ready to answer.
"Okay, so I'm taking the arrowhead-shaped pendant and this skill page."
