Day 1

Ahmedabad, Gujarat

"Blue-coloured glowing gates have appeared in each of the 28 states. Considering the circumstances, the parliament has announced an indefinite lockdown throughout the country. And the Indian military has been deployed around those gates in case of any emergency. The government has decided to wait for a few days and observe what happens if left undisturbed. This is Vivaan Deshmukh signing off the Star News. Good night and good luck."

"Sir, are we gonna keep monitoring the situation from afar? I mean, shouldn't we get there and take a closer look?" A young soldier asked the squad captain to which he replied, "It's better this way. We don't know what kind of calamity could be in there."

"But sir, the people who were involved in the disappearance all said that they fought slimes that weren't that difficult to handle and neutralize."

"Trust me, it's better safe than sorry. We should always be careful of the unknown. Now, bring me the report from the surveillance team."

"Yes, sir."

Day 2

Kolkata, West Bengal

"Just what are they doing? The military should get in and shoot every monster to death and clear the dungeon." An angry old man commented on the TV.

Day 3

Chennai, Tamil Nadu

[Time until the outbreak - 2 days 20 hours 08 min]

"This is India News, and we are currently near the Chennai gate. As you can see, a rebellion has been started by civilians living in nearby areas. They have asked the military to subdue the dangers and lift the barriers set up around the neighbourhood. It has been 2 days since the appearance of this mysterious pathway and everyone is panicking about what will happen if an outbreak occurs. It seems the government is finally deciding to send one squad to every gate to scout."

Day 4

New Delhi

Aarav's POV

It has been 3 days since the gates appeared. Unfortunately, the New Delhi gate has appeared on campus at my college. Most of the students were terrified until the military came but Abhay was overly excited for some reason.

Anyways, Yesterday, the first raid attempt of the army failed. This is because only those who gained the status of 'Player' or became 'Awakened' were able to enter the dungeon. They were not enough to handle what was inside. As a result of their ignorance, the army lost over 3,000 proud soldiers. That cursed event came to be known as the 'bloodhound slaughter' as the monsters inside the dungeon were dog-like creatures termed 'bloodhounds'.
