"This is the bouquet you wanted. Peonies and a few lavender flowers with the stems."

The bouquet was beautiful but for some reason, Dave wasn't feeling it.

"Do you have any other bouquets?"

"I did sketch something incase you didn't like this one. I took the red and pink peonies, took some long lavender flowers and made a cascading bouquet. It matches your suit but it stands out as well"

Dave gasped as he saw the bouquet. It was perfect!

"Can you add the some small bedazzled flowers in there, so the pictures can have that glare from the camera flash"

"Sounds good. I also need to measure the venue so I know how many flowers we'll need for the ceremony and reception"

Dave sighed.

"Let's wait a bit on that, but I will send you an email with details very soon"

"Alright. I'll make an estimate of costs after that email"

"No worries"

He steps outside the shop and finds Jack having ice cream beside the car.

"Where's mine?"

"I told them to keep it chilled, let me go get it"

Once Jack ran inside the shop, Dave's phone rings and he picks up.

"Hey mom"

"Sweetie where are you?"

"We're cake tasting. Why?"

"Well we just arrived and we were hoping to see you and Jack"

"We will be there for dinner. But for now we have plans"

"Alright. I'll have the chef make your favourite"

"Which is?"

"What?"

He sighs.

"Nothing. I have to go"

He hangs up and smiles when he suddenly sees an ice cream cone in front of him.

"Thanks babe. Now let's get going before we miss our appointment"

"John?"

"Oh hey Austin. How are you doing?"

"Good, good. What...what are you doing here?"

John gave him an odd look.

"I stopped by for a coffee. Why? Worried I'll see your new boyfriend?"

Austin rolled his eyes.

"I'm not dating anyone"

"Me too...well not that you asked but I thought you'd want to know"

An awkward silence fell upon them. Austin awkwardly twiddled his fingers.

"So uhm....are you going to the wedding?"

"Yeah....are you?"

"I am....well I'll see you around"

John watches him walk out. He sighed sadly. Hopefully they'll get to a point where they're casual, but he still wanted to be with Austin.

"This is our chocolate cake, we make our frosting with dark chocolate so the cake can last a longer time"

They both take a bite and Jack nods as he took in the taste.

"Is it compatible with wine?" Jack asks.

"No, unfortunately"

"We'll have the next cake" Dave says and the baker nods before leaving their table.

"This is fun" Jack says and Dave chuckles.

"You're like a child in a candy store"

The baker returns with three more peices of cake.

"This is the butterscotch cake, this one is fruit cake and this is the chocolate devil's food cake"

They both dive for the devil's food cake. Dave closed his eyes and moans in delight while Jack shuddered from the great taste.

"The devil's food cake goes well with the red wines. Any red wine you serve will make this cake stand out"

Dave nods and points at the cake.

"We will take this"

"Excellent choise. I'll bring the artist so you can exchange a few ideas"

Once the baker had left again, Dave watches Jack eat the rest of the cakes.

"Are they good?"

"They're delicious but we made the right choice"

He nods and smiles.

"Can you believe we're about to get married?"

Jack nods with a warm smile.

"This is the one time I'm happy to be anxious"

Dave laughs and pats him on the knee.

"My parents invited us for dinner"

"Oh, we'll go then" Jack responds but when his husband to be sighed, he frowned.

"What's the matter?"

"My mom is obsessed with public opinion. Do you know she criticised our wedding theme just because she is worried about what people will say when they see the photos?"

Jack sighed.

"I think it's time to tell your mother she can't control you anymore. You have your own ideas and you should stand by it"

Dave nodded and gave Jack a small smile.

"Thanks honey"

"Hello there, I'm the artist and will be helping you with idea for your wedding cake"

"Oh we already know what we want" Jack says and Dave looked at him in surprise.

"We do?"

"Of course. We want a 6"4 tall cake, gold and white flower details along the side with two grooms as the topper, they should be kissing by the way"

Dave was quite surprised by Jack's details. He smiles and nods.

"That's exactly what we want"

"Alrighty then. Sign here and add your email so I can send you the payment information"

"Alright"

After they has settled everything, they walk out of the bakery heading to their car.

"So what's next?" Jack asks.

"We go home and sleep"

"Come on, let's go  suit shopping. I still have to find a suit"

"Oh yeah...okay let's go"

Deciding to just walk around, they head inside the first store they find.

"Try finding one in carmine, so we'll be matching" Dave says and Jack nods as he looks around.

Dave picks a few casual clothes while they look around. Jack on the other hand finds a suit. The carmine colour was a darker shade but a white shirt would help it stand out.

"I found something"

Dave rushes over and nods in approval.

"I like it. You can wear the watch and cufflinks to add subtle sparkle to it too"

Jack nods and looks at the clothes in Dave's hands.

"What are those?"

Dave smiles sheepishly.

"Honeymoon clothes"
