SEVENTY FIVE

4 days before the wedding

Jack was laying on the bed watching Dave pack a small bag.

"Do you really have to go? We're a few days away from our wedding" he says.

"I'll be back tomorrow babe, this shoot is important. This will be my last fashion show"

"Okay, go get them tiger"

Dave smiles and zips up his bag. He joins Jack in bed and gives him a kiss.

"I'll miss you"

Jack held him by the waist, eyes looking into Dave's.

"I'll miss you too"

Dave kisses him again, moaning softly as Jack's hands went up and down his back.

"I'll be late"

"Okay but when you come back, you're all mine"

Dave gets off the bed and grabs his bag.

"I'll see you tomorrow, take care of yourself"

"I'll be fine"

He sighs once Dave had left. This was the first time he'd be alone since they met, it was nerve-wracking but also exciting for a bit.

He gets off the bed and heads downstairs, going inside the kitchen and makes breakfast. Looking around the silent house.

"Damn. It's so quiet"

John woke up with Austin on his side. He pokes the man on the side and Austin yelped before opening his eyes.

"Good morning"

"Morning, are you going to work?" John asks and Austin shook his head.

"Jack gave us the week off since he'll be away on his wedding"

"Alright, so what should we do?"

"Let's go to the park and feed some ducks"

"Alright, can I have a morning kiss first?"

Austin chuckles and holds John by the chin and kisses him. John moans softly once he feels Austin's tongue explore his mouth. He pulls away and smirks.

"Let's get ready and get going"

"How's England?"

"Cold. But I'll survive. What are you doing?"

"I added a few pictures of mine around the living" Jack says and shows Dave the living room.

Dave laughed softly.

"I like it. I miss you so much!"

"I miss you too, but you'll be here in a few hours"

"I know. But still, I miss your scent"

Jack laughed.

"Well next time pack some of my clothing with you"

"That's a good idea. Oh, the show is starting, see you later"

Jack sighed when the call ended. He turns his attention to the tv.

"Maybe I should go out?"

John and Austin get out of the car, Austin smiles as he looked around the park. He saw couples in picnics, friends laughing by the small hills.

John grabs their picnic basket from the backseat.

"Let's find a spot near the pond" he says. They hold hands and walk towards the pond, finding some shade near the pond. Some ducks were quacking from a distance.

Austin spread the blanket on the ground, they sit down and John cracks open some soda and hands on to Austin.

"I thought it'd be hot but nope, it's very calming to be outside"

Austin nods.

"Yeah and we get to meet the ducks! Give me some bread"

John hands him the loaf and watches Austin run off to the pond. He smiles, looking at the ducks swim towards Austin as soon as he threw some bread into the water.

"You are so cute, yes you are, quack quack quack"  Austin coos at the ducks. once the bread ran out, the ducks decided to chase him away from their pond.

John watched in shock as three ducks chased Austin, flapping their wings as they quacked in anger.

Austin ran to John, landing on the man's lap, watching the ducks retreat to their pond. John laughed until he cried, Austin frowned.

"It's not funny"

"Pfft....it was babe"

Austin sighed.

"Whatever, don't talk to me" he says, getting up. John held him by the hand.

"Hey, are you upset? I'm sorry"

The man sighed again.

"I'm so embarrassed"

John stood up and pulled Austin closer for a hug.

"It's okay. Do you want to go home?"

"Yeah"

"Okay, let me pack this up, go wait for me in the car"

"Okay"

John watched the ducks swim around the pond. He sighs.

"I know what I'm eating for dinner"

In the evening, Jack was having pizza and soda, bingewatching Welcome to demon school Iruma-kun. His phone beeps and he smiles before picking up the video call.

"Hey you"

"Hi hi, are you having pizza?"

"Yeah. What did you have?"

"Shrimp cocktails. How was your day?"

"My day was boring! I didn't realise how I forgot to be alone"

Dave sighed.

"Same here"

Jack frowns.

"What's wrong?"

"Hm? Oh nothing, it's just, there was a commotion during the show"

He sits up and puts the pizza box down.

"What happened?"

"Well there were anti-fur people there. I was wearing this fur coat and you can guess what happened"

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you"

"I mean the person was a little racist so yeah....it was dramatic"

Jack felt rage bubble up inside him. If only he went with Dave.

"Had I been there"

"It would've still happened babe. Things like this happen all the time on the runway. But I'm glad it was my last"

He sighs.

"As long as you're okay, I'm happy. When are you coming back?"

"When you wake up, I'll be there"

He smiles.

"I can't wait"

"Me too you ungrateful husband"

He laughs.

"Good night cheap husband, I love you"

"Love you too"
