EIGHTY

"Everyone, the Montgomery-Nirans!"

Jack and Dave make their way down the grand staircase, Jack was wearing his traditional wedding attire while Dave wore a blue suit with a blue veil to match.

Everyone claps and Ed Sheeran's Thinking out loud begins to play, Jack held his husband in position and they begin to dance. Dave chuckled.

"What's funny?" Jack asks.

"I just realized something, you're my husband"

Jack smiles and twirls him then pulls him back.

"And you are mine"

Jack receives a tap on the shoulder, he looks back and it was Anong.

"Since your father is not in the picture, may I dance with Dave?"

Jack nods and hands Dave's hand to his mother.

"Congratulations"

Dave smiled at his mother in law.

"Thank you and thank you for coming"

"What is family for"

Anong recieves a tap on the shoulder and it was Mark. They switch places and The man smiled at his son.

"We're proud of you son"

"Thanks Dad....I love you both"

Mark nods and hands Dave's hand to Jack.

"Take care of my son, he's my only one"

Jack nodded.

"Yes sir"

The music switches and Up where we belong by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes begins to play. Dave held on to Jack tightly, letting the lyrics of the song sink in.

The fact that he was about to spend the rest of his life with this man he loved was really special. He knows someo people are out there looking non stop for their match. He will not take this for granted.

Everyone watched as the newly weds suddenly had tears flow down their cheeks. Austin cooed at them.

"This is so beautiful" he says and John nudged him.

"Maybe that will be us someday?"

Austin scoffs.

"No no, I don't want to get married"

John sighed in relief.

"Me too"

The song ends and Dave looked up at Jack.

"You have snot on your nose"

Jack scoffed.

"And your mascara is running"

Vanessa walks up to them.

"Go get cleaned up then you'll make a speech and cut the cake. Then we party all night"

"Thank you everyone for showing up to our wedding. We're so thankful to see you all here and I won't make this long so we'll cut the cake and get to dancing!"

They all cheered as The couple cut the cake. Dave takes the chocolate frosting and smears it on Jack's lips.

Suddenly there was a frosting war between the two. Jack holding Dave's arms above his head and kissed him with his frosted covered lips. The crowd cheered and Dave had to hide his glassy eyes with the veil.

"Let's party!" Jack says, the people cheered and the music began to play.

The couple sit down and watch as people dance, some even heading back to the backyard for drinks and food.

"So Mr Montgomery-Niran, should we head to the bedroom and consummate our marriage?"

Dave playfully punches him on the arm.

"That can wait until the honeymoon or the plane ride there" he says with a wink.

Jack holds him by the chin and kisses him, lips smacking as they lost themselves in the moment. Dave pulls away once he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket.

"I forgot to leave it in my room sorry" he says. He looks at the screen and gasps before showing it to his husband.

Jack sat up and nods. Dave picks up the call.

"Hello Bonnie"

"Hello hello! Is Jack with you? I have some news to share"

"Give me a minute"

Dave pulls Jack into an empty room, he locks the door and puts the call on speaker.

"We're listening"

"Alright so unfortunately the surrogate Jack wanted is still on her second trimester with another couple so we couldn't get everything done. We saved your sample just in case you want to use our services again."

Jack nodded. It was quite sad but he knows everything will work out the second time.

"The good news is we have fertilised the egg of the surrogate Dave chose so we'll everything is done. Dave is there a lineage of twins in your family?"

"My mother and her sister are twins. Why?"

"Well the thing is....once we fertilised the egg the cells began to duplicate and now we potentially have two embryos"

The couple share a shocked glance. If things would've went as planned, they could've possibly have three kids at once?!

"That's excellent! We can't wait" Jack says in excitement.

"I'll be in touch every two weeks to gove an update"

"Thanks Bonnie"

The call ends and they sigh, taking all the information in.

"Twins" Jack says and Dave nodded.

"How many kids did you want?"

"5"

Dave's eyes widen in shock.

"Five?"

Jack shrugged.

"I mean why not, we can take care of them"

"That's true. What if you have triplets" Dave teases and Jack scoffs.

"That will be a sight to see"

By evening, Jack and his husband were preparing to leave for their honeymoon, the party had ended but John and Austin had plans for an after party.

"What's with the small bag?" Jack asks

"Well the last time we went to Thailand you said I packed too much"

"I know but you are who you are. If you need more bags, take them"

"Eh, I don't plan on shopping. I want to have fun with you"

"Me too. Let's get going, the driver is waiting"

Heading down the stairs, Dave takes a look around the house, he could here the cries and laughter of his future children and that made him happy.

Jack locks the door and turns to Dave, holding a hand out to him.

"Ready?"

Dave smiles and held Jack's hand.

"Let's go"

It was a long journey for the both of them and reaching here was the peak of their lives.

John and Austin would move to Romania the following week and their relationship would blossom into something they didn't expect. John was glad Dave didn't accept his proposal, it would've been a different story for the both of them.
