Iris wasn't fully sure what had happened. They had just come back from Kyoto and then a light hit. It was bright, almost blinding. Iris didn't know where it was coming from, it was almost like it had been seeping through the walls. She remembered feeling Rose's hand grabbing her and then being pulled away all at once.
Her head started to pound, it felt like she was fighting against something, but she couldn't tell what. It felt like she was swimming, but it was much harder to swim through whatever it was she was fighting against than it was to swim in the TARDIS' pool. For a second she felt whatever it was winning, and then she was on a cold floor, black slowly taking over her vision.

Iris woke up to a rough shaking, "Iris, wake up." She could finally feel The Doctor's hands on her as her eyes slowly opened. As soon as he'd seen her light brown eyes, worry faded from his face and he helped her up.
She used his shoulders to stabilise herself. As soon as she could she let go, looking away from The Doctor. "Where are we?" She asked, eyes scanning around the room. It was large and the walls looked to be made out of metal, painted to look black.
"A place called Satellite Five." Iris nodded, remembering the story Rose had told her about it. It had been a news station that was taken over by some alien, who had been using Satellite Five to subtle manipulate the human race into being whatever it wanted to through the news coming from the satellite.
A new voice spoke from behind The Doctor, causing Iris to jump. "No one's called it Satellite Five in ages. It's the Game Station now. Hasn't been Satellite Five in about a hundred years." Iris hadn't realised the blond woman had been there, Iris wondered how she couldn't have noticed her. She noticed a lot, like the chipped paint all around the room, or how in some spots the paint seemed to fade and lighten into an almost green colour. It seemed like it had been years since anyone had actually been in the part of Satellite Five they were in.
"A hundred years exactly. It's the year 200100." The Doctor responded as he began scanning the walls with his sonic screwdriver. "I was here before, Floor one three nine. The Satellite was broadcasting news channels back then. Had a bit of trouble upstairs. Nothing too serious. Easy. Give them a hand, home in time for tea." Iris rolled her eyes as The Doctor bragged, moving away from the pair.
The room was full of identical white doors. She wondered what they could possibly lead to. Were there more people through those doors like the woman The Doctor had arrived with? She placed her hand on one of the scanners outside the doors but nothing happened aside from a noise Iris took to confirm it had scanned her hand.
A hand pulled Iris' off the scanner, Iris looked back seeing The Doctor walking away from her and to the door it connected to, beginning to sonic it. "I had two other friends travelling with me. They must've got caught in the same transmat. Where would they be?" He asked the stranger, continuing to sonic the door.
