She wasn't sure what was happening, her mind was a blur of puzzle pieces that she couldn't quite fit together but knew where there. It took her a moment to actually open her eyes, but the sudden feeling of the cold air hitting her skin helped her feel fully awake. She quickly sat up, for a moment her muscles hurt, and her head felt like it was spinning, though both faded after a short time.

She scanned around the room; it was basically empty aside from the small amount of broken desks and chairs left in the room. When she tilted her head, she could see the light reflecting on what she assumed to be broken glass on the floor.

The only intact object left in the room seemed to be the machine she had woken up in, and even that was covered in scuff marks and scratches. It was vaguely human shaped and seemed to be made to accommodate different shapes and sizes through its length, width and what she could only describe as a mattress that took the shape of her hand as she pressed down on it.

Feeling multiple pairs of eyes on her she finally looked towards the three others in the room. A brief sense of familiarity washed over her as she looked at them, though the longer she looked at them the more she knew she had no clue who they were. Still that familiarity stayed.

The Blonde girl slowly began approaching her from the foot of where she'd been sleeping. "Iris?" The blonde asked, causing her eyebrows to pull together. She thought that was something she had been called before, but she wasn't sure if it was right. Iris. Even if that wasn't her real name, it was the closest thing she had to one in that moment.

Iris pulled her legs over the edge of the pod. As she tried to stand up her legs wobbled, as though she hadn't walked on them in a long time. She supposed that was probably true. The blonde girl ran to her side, holding Iris up just as she almost fell to the floor.

The muddled blur of what memories that sat in Iris' mind faded away and with it the familiarity of the three strangers. She studied the blonde's face as they held onto each other, trying to find it once more, but now all she saw was a stranger holding her. Iris pushed away, finally managing to hold herself up without the girl's help.

Looking back at the bed she'd come up from, it was obviously some sort of machine. It had wires running from it into the wall behind, and it had a lid with a window in it, though something was covering it as to have not let any light into the machine while she was in it. The machine had probably been the thing keeping her asleep, and more than likely had also taken her memories. The outline of her body where she had slept was still on the mattress, though Iris could see it slowly beginning to rise again to become level with the rest of itself.

The mattress looked shiny, almost gel-like, despite not feeling that way when Iris had been on it. It was an extremely faded colour, though Iris could still make out hints of what she assumed to be its originally light metallic gold colour. The longer she stared into she began to see faint hints of iridescence streaks coming through. They seemed to appear all over the mattress as if swimming underneath its original faded colour only showing itself for short breaths before going back under.
