Cori had been waiting for this. The day where she can finally start proving herself. More responsibility so she can show everyone that she deserves this. Priya had been waiting for this too. She was moving up, finally. She could make sure villains could get what deserved.
"Today is the day." Batman said with a hand on each of his protégé's shoulders. Dick and Priya standing tall.
"Welcome to The Hall of Justice." Green Arrow said with Roy standing by his side. Priya looking briefly for Wally and noticing his absence more than the others.
"Headquarters of The Justice League." Aquaman said from the very end of the little line they made. They were all looking at the round building, the front surrounded by reporters and civilians. The crowd was bustling with an energy that Priya couldn't decipher, she hoped it was positive.
"Oh man!" An all too familiar voice says from behind them. They groups turns around and is faced with a late Wally and Flash.
"I knew we'd be the last ones here."

"I see Flash and Flash Jr." Another said.
"His names Speedy duh." That comment made Priya smile a little wider.
"No. Speedys Green Arrow's sidekick." The voice from before argued.
"Well that makes no sense." Was the last comment Priya paid attention to before Green Arrows voice caught her attention.
"Ready to see the inner sanctum?" Green Arrow said leaning forward so Roy could hear him.
"Born that way." Roy said in response.
"I'm glad we're all here." Kaldur said towering over Cori who nodded.
"Have all 6 sidekicks ever been in the same place at the same time?" Wally asked with that big smile he usually wore.
"Don't call us sidekick," Roy said sharply. "not after today."
Priya shot a look at Roy. He seemed like a fine guy but she didn't know how much she trusted him. She was just glad at Dick was her partner. She could trust him, and he could trust her.
"I'm a little overwhelmed." Cori said quieter than the rest, looking back at her mentor for a minute. She was the youngest one here by a year, and Robin who was the a year older than her seemed so confident. She wouldn't let that stand. She'd be more confident that Robin.
