The holographic circle lit up as Kaldur and Superboy approached each other, Superboy shirtless. They stopped a few feet from each other starting to circle. Fleur was standing with Andrew on the side Kaldur had started at, M'gann standing next to Andrew with Priya and Artemis. Cori was standing with Wally a few feet from the others, Dick was noticeably absent.
Pandora played with a deck of cards in her hands while Karina watched the fight intently, standing beside the other. They were a few feet from Cori and Wally, but that didn't stop Wally's loud chewing from reaching their ears.
Kaldur and Superboy started to fight, no one getting control quite yet. Artemis looked from M'gann to Kaldur, thinking.
"Kaldur's, uh, nice, don't you think?" Artemis asked, her hands on her hips. Fleur looked over at the three at the mention of their leader. Priya also took interest in the conversation. "Handsome. Commanding. You should totally ask him out."
Fleur seemed to tense where she stood, Priya tilted her head in confusion. The pairing never occurring to her. Andrew's eyes moved to Artemis. All three of them quickly deciding that pairing did not make sense at all.
"He's like a big brother to me." M'gann said, the three relaxing at the confirmation that the couple would not happen.
"You know who would make a cute couple?" Fleur said, eyeing Artemis then Priya. She turned her head to where Cori and Wally were standing. "Artemis and Wally."
Priya's eyes widened at the thought. Her heart deflated at the thought, but she didn't know why. She couldn't place the root of why that thought made her so sad.
"Maybe even JB." Andrew added, seeming to only slightly listen to the conversation. Priya's heart was now palpitating, again without a known reason.
"You two so full of passion and he's so full of, uh- of-" M'gann said, struggling to think of something.
"It?" Artemis said with a smirk at the same time Priya whispered under breath. "Kindness."
"What'd you say?" Fleur asked, a challenge in her eyes as she looked over at Priya.
"It, I said it." Priya said, an embarrassed flush filled her face. Then a devious smirk took over her face. "Maybe I should be talking about Kaldur and y-"
"Don't you dare." Fleur interrupted her, pointing at finger in warning. A silent truce when between their eyes.
Cori's eyes moved from the group back to Wally, who had just finished his burrito. She was noticing Dick's absence the most. Priya and Wally seeming to know something, the apprentices didn't know him well enough to worry about him not being with them. But Cori knew he had to be doing something important.
