HERE'S A SPECIAL FOR MOTHERS DAY, SEEING AS IT WAS YESTERDAY.

Lyndsey and I spent most of the day planning something for Mother's Day. We might not have a mother but we still celebrate it with our dad. He's pretty motherly anyway. Layton had taken chad out to have lunch while he left us home knowing we were gonna plan something. I took Lyndsey earlier today and we both bought large rose bouquets and boxes of chocolate. We wrote out personal cards and while our dads were out we raced to the store. Lyndsey bought him a present and so did I and now we are just waiting for them to get home. I'm sitting in the living room with hoovers head on my lap while Lyndsey is laying on the ground playing with a small ball. Almost like a cat would do.
We stay in almost silence for about twenty minutes until we hear the garage door open and we both jump up. Hoover runs to the back door and starts scratching while we walk over and open it. Hoover runs out to Layton immediately jumping on him and licking his face. My dads all too familiar smile appears as he tries to push the dog off him. My other day walks around from the other side of the car and laughs. "Babe help me." My dad pleads while pops shakes his head still laughing.
"You and Aaron wanted a dog while Lyndsey and I wanted a cat. That's your problem." He laughs while Lyndsey runs up to him an hugs him tightly.
"Happy Mother's Day daddy!" She says and he hugs her back just as tight.
"Thank you princess." He says and kisses her head. After letting go of him she runs over and helps dad before jumping on him and hugging him tightly as well. I go over to pops and give him a light hug.
"Happy Mother's Day papa." I tell him and he smiles hugging me back.
"Thank you Aaron." He tells me. Lyndsey comes back and grabs our dads hand before dragging him into the house. I follow behind with Layton following me. Lyndsey leads papa into the kitchen where we have all our gifts in the counter. "Awe, thank you, you guys you didn't have to."
I snort slightly, "it's because we're the best kids ever." I say.
Dad mimics my snot, "says you." He tells me and pays my head before walking over to his husband and wrapping his arms around him. I glare then roll my eyes. No point starting fights now, I'll be good just this once.
"You guys are the best dads ever." Lyndsey says and I nod. Sure I guess they're ok.

"T-They're... G-gone..." She whispers. My breathing stops as the air catches in my throat and my eyes widen. I feel my hands trembling.
"What?! June what are you talking about?" Devon asks her but I'm still unable to move. My mind is blank. How? How could they be gone? He was following us... H-how could he of gotten to them.
"T-they're g-gone." She repeats herself to Devon as she keeps sobbing. Devon looks over at me then immediately stops. He reaches over and places his hand on my shoulder.
