It's been a week since the incident at the bridge. That boy, I can't remember his name, hasn't called or messaged me but I still see him around so I know he's alive. I explained everything that happened to Lyndsey but no one else. I know she's good at keeping secrets, but I know nothing about June.

The week has been pretty boring, me just going for walks everyday while Lyndsey finds something to do with June or the others. I still don't trust them. Leah and Megan seem ok but I still don't like Jeff. He doesn't seem like the person to hang out with a bunch of girls and he acts too weird.

And now I'm lounging on the couch in the basement with nothing to do. I've basically claimed this couch to be mine. No one else really sits here unless they're talking to me. Sometimes June will come down and play her keyboard and make me fall asleep. Not like I wasn't already before.

June is out with chris doing something I don't remember what... I think it was shopping. And Lyndsey is upstairs helping mike with this project thing. I wasn't paying attention when they told me what they were gonna do. Sitting up and wandering out to the main part of the basement I turn the TV on and sit down on the floor, resting my back against a chair. I flip through the channels lazily until I find something that won't annoying me. Pulling out my phone I mess around with some games and browse twitter. I don't follow many people so my feed is pretty boring. Yawning I lay down on the floor and roll to my side, starting a random YouTube video. I close my eyes and begin to fall asleep until a head loud sounds from upstairs then foot steps rushing down the stairs. Sighing and hide my face with my arms.

If I ignore them they'll go away so I can sleep...

"Aaron why are you sleeping on the floor." Lyndsey asked, putting her foot on my waist.

"Because it actually lets me sleep." I grumble pushing her foot off of me as I roll over.

"Get up and help us." I mumble a no while trying to go back to sleep. "I'll buy you food." Tempting but sleep sounded better. "C'mon we just wanna ask you a few questions and then you can go sleep in your bed."

I peek up at her from my arms, my eyes set in a glare. "I'd rather sleep here, if you want to ask me questions ask them now because I'm not moving." She sighed then walked to the stair case and called mike to come down. I close my eyes and rest my head on my arms as I wait for what ever questions I need to answer. What project is he even doing anyway? Like an interview thing?

Soon mike was down stairs and standing over me "why are you on the floor?" He asked me with a questioning gaze.

"It doesn't try to wake me up, now hurry up with these questions so I can sleep." I grumble not even bothering to open my eyes. He sits down and starts asking questions, what surprised me was the fact that they were opinionated questions about crime and law. Answering the questions made my question what mike did as a job. "Mike where do you work?" I ask after answering a question.

He looked up from his paper and smiles at me. "Oh I didn't tell you? I'm a doctor." I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. If he's a doctor then why is he asking these questions. Questions like what is your view on murder and rape. This is the kind of work for a lawyer like dad or a police officer like sherif Thomas, not a doctor.

Sitting up I show him my confused face "wait, if you're a doctor then why are you asking these questions?" The smile never left his face, he doesn't seem suspicious or guilty or anything. It's almost like he's heard these questions many times.
