A long silence waited as the sun started to rise.
"Alright, we follow the river."
"Good, now CometPaw, get your brothers, you three will be keeping the kits together with their mother. While MoonPaw and SunPaw will follow, and HoundPaw, FawnPaw will follow their mentors."
FrogStar spoke louder.
"SwanLeap, take SpiderStripe with you as well, you five will be Infront of clan, you'll be our lookout, we need a safe pathway." SwanLeap nodded his head as LilyStream ran after him.
"What about CinnamonPaw and FrostPaw? What about CloudPaw, and VolePaw?" CometPaw looked back to FrogStar.
"CinnamonPaw is not my concern, her mentor is my adviser as medicine cat, they'll know what to do, and FrostPaw will stay in their care till she can hunt. But her siblings will be helping the elders." FrogStar spoke again. Leaving CometPaw nothing more to speak of.
"Don't worry, she needs to be this way, CorkStar was her mentor, leaders must make wise decisions even if it breaks them. CorkStar had to choose a decision like this before, leave the previous leader to die because he couldn't recover or use everything they had to revive ThristleStar. The choose was difficult, but CorkStar knew the place was longer safe for the clan." StarlingClaw's flank guided him.
Everything was a pitch black void, but it was quite difficult when rain started poured.
"Well look at that, let's hope it's not a storm." Small weird droppings of liquid started to touch his fur.
"Rain is weird..."
"But a real beauty-" StarlingClaw paused.
"A real what?"
"Anyway you should check RedPaw and AshPaw. You'll need to keep SorrelKit, RainKit and ShadeKit, with Bloom and ShadowFoot. When Bloom is a warrior, FrogStar will hold a assessment for Bloom, if she succeeds, she'll receive her warrior name. Her mentor is me, so on some battle training you'll see her, we barely have warriors, look out for any danger." CometPaw could hear a flip sound, he assumed it was StarlingClaw.
"RedPaw will be with AshPaw at the river. Or when the grounds starts to get wet. Follow CinnamonPaw, I heard NightBlair needs some moss." StarlingClaw spoke again as the cold scent of NightBlair approached.
"Follow CinnamonPaw." The tom ordered as CinnamonPaw flicked her tail toward him to guide CometPaw.
"RedPaw! Take CometPaw to the kits." CinnamonPaw yowled.
"Question? How did you get so close to CinnamonPaw!? NightBlair wouldn't let me nor RedPaw near her!" AshPaw rasped.
"She only guided me to you, and NightBlair treats me like a patient than a apprentice." CometPaw explained as he shuffled a pile of something crunchy under his paws.
"You do know that you're on a carcass." RedPaw mewed, CometPaw jumped away from the crunchy nothingness.
"It's just a bunch of leaves! Not a carcass, you shouldn't mess with CometPaw like that!" AshPaw raised his voice.
"But look at his reaction, and how quick he jumped away!" RedPaw laughed.
"I trusted you to help me with my sight! Not trick it!" CometPaw yowled.
"And? Isn't my fault you were born blind, plus! StarlingClaw always shares more time with you!" RedPaw argued.
"I'm his apprentice! His blind son!" CometPaw yowled.
"Can you two stop arguing!? Let's just head to the kits, we don't need drama right now." AshPaw interrupted them.
"Ughhh, fine! ShadeKit better be respectful this time!" RedPaw grumbled.
"ShadeKit! Give it back!" A small brown torquise shell she-cat screeched.
"No!" A tiny brown tabby tom yowled.
"I am the prophecy cat of this litter! And you will give it back to SorrelKit!" A mini dark blue black she-cat commanded.
"And you are still a kit! How can you save the clan if you can't even fight!?" The tabby yowled.
"SorrelKit, ShadeKit, and RainKit, please gather around, doesn't matter if we bring or leave anything." RedPaw growled.
"Be a bit kinder to them at least, they are kits. Not rogues." AshPaw spoke.
"Their mother is a loner." RedPaw snapped back.
"But lives under the protection of a clan. And we will receive her warrior assessment after her time being a queen." AshPaw reassured.
"Ughhh, anyway. Head to your mother." ShadowFoot and Bloom continued talking even when SorrelKit jumped up on Bloom.
"When I was starting to learn to fetch prey, Cloud was already learning to track scents! Cloud became my mentor after our father left." She continued.
