StarlingClaw waited. As he watched cats be sent away back to their dens. Till it was his turn.
"StarlingClaw, NightBlair told I'll examine you, alright?" CinnamonPaw was waiting next to some moss bedding as NightBlair checked on FrogCloud.
"Hey, StarlingClaw, how's BrindleTail?" The chocolate she-cat mewed.
"She's doing alright, I can't wait for the kits to apprentices, more apprentices and BrindleTail back as a warrior." He spoke.
"Sounds like a handful of kits, since CometKit is blind, what will he even do, if he can't fight, NightBlair already has an apprentice."
"I can train him, I know how to fight, and hunt."
"You sure? Any kit of that nursery, you chose the blind one? Plus, your not the best at fighting. Every cat knows that." FrogCloud mewed.
"FrogCloud you're done, no ticks nor any injuries." NightBlair insisted.
"You should also go StarlingClaw, I'm done checking you." CinnamonPaw agreed.
FrogCloud was heading off to CorkStar, like StarlingClaw suspected.
The nursery was getting full, and there was two kits almost ready to become apprentices.
"SunKit! Get back here! You VOLEBRAIN!" MoonKit yowled from the nursery.
"MoonKit, keep quiet CometKit is sleeping." CormantStorm interrupted.
"Fine... Only for CometKit." MoonKit mewed.
"All cats that can travel, please gather around." CorkStar yowled.
"Today two kits are old enough to join the wild, of this clan. SunKit and MoonKit." CorkStar paused, waiting for silence.
"SunKit and MoonKit, you are six moons old, you are ready to become an apprentice, from this day on, you will be known as SunPaw and MoonPaw, your mentors will be FrogCloud and SpiderStripe. FrogCloud, you are ready for an new apprentice, with your honesty and elegance, I hope you pass everything you know onto MoonPaw. And SpiderStripe, you are finally ready to receive your first apprentice, with your hope and stamina, I hope you pass on everything you know, onto SunPaw." The clan chanted for the two newly fledge apprentices.
"Clan dismissed." CorkStar leaped down from the HighStone and left to her den.
"StarlingClaw! I'm finally an apprentice!" MoonPaw cheered.
SunPaw gloomy watched the sky as it turned to a orange color.
"Tired?"
"No, distracted. I'm finally an apprentice, but I feel like something is missing." SunPaw mewed.
"Many cats say that, it's either the feeling of wanting to be a warrior, or you have a crush. Or something like that."
