(Maria is my oc, and Locke is Brooklynn's last name. Yasmina is referred to as mother by Maria and Sammy is mom)

Maria looked around her room for something she hid from her parents. It was an old picture of the two when they were young that she somehow found. It was of them in a forest and they looked so happy. Maria saw the torn and dirty clothes the two looked like they have been through hell. When she dug deeper she found news articles about a group of kids, her parents were a part of "The Nublar Six" a group of six teens who got left behind on Isla Nublar consisting of Kenji Kon, Brooklynn Locke, Ben Pincus, Darius Bowman, Yasmina Fadoula, and Sammy Gutierrez. They had kept this a secret from her so they wouldn't relive the trauma. When she gathered what little information she could about what happened she planned to ask her parents for more details about it.

At the dinner table, Maria picked at the food on her plate listening to her parent's conversation. Until Maria asked "What is The Nublar Six?" that silenced both women who had looks of pain in their eyes. Her mother looked at the girl the look on her face was one she couldn't read, as she spoke her voice seemed to become hushed "Maria go to your room please." The teen tensed up slightly her eyes downcast "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you." Her mother shook her head "You didn't upset us I just need to talk to your mom for a few minutes. Okay?" Maria nodded and left the room leaving the two alone.

As Maria left Yasmina let out a soft sigh reaching over and grabbing her wife's hand running her thumb over her knuckles she heard her wife whisper gently "We should tell her. it's been years since it happened, so what do you say Yaz? Are you ready to talk about it?" The woman sighs and shook her head she wasn't ready to relive it yet. The wounds may have healed but the scars still stung even if it wasn't physical pain more emotional, Yasmina had a few dreams of Nublar over the years but they almost stopped until recently. They started small with a roar being heard in the distance but they built up to her getting chased by something. Her worst dream was of her in Sammy's place during the Scorpius attack. Tears came to her eyes as she remembered the horrid dream. Her wife's voice brought her out of her thoughts "Hey, it's okay we don't have to tell her if you're not ready." Yasmina nodded slowly as she stood up and collected the dishes.
