Santana's POV
It's 6 am I woke up about an hour ago and have been sitting by the window looking out. I had a hard time sleeping, Everytime I closed my eyes I would see our mom and dad. At one point I had a dream that they were here in new york and they tried to take Brynn from me. I honestly have a bad feeling that something is going to happen today but I'm not sure what it is. As I was looking out the window Quinn got up and came and hugged me
Quinn: you okay San
Santana: yeah just couldn't sleep
Quinn: is Brynn up yet?
Santana: no she's asleep still, I was getting ready to go wake her
Quinn: I'll go do it, What time do we have to be in the lobby
Santana: 7
Quinn: okay I'll be back
Quinn got up and went to go wake Brynn up. I went into the bathroom and started to get ready
Quinn's POV
I went to Brynn a rubbed her back
Quinn: Brynn it's time to get up
Brynn: but I'm tired
Quinn: I know but we need to get ready so we can get to the theatre
Brynn: fine I'm up I'm up
Santana yelled from the bathroom
Santana: just because you say your up doesn't mean your up get out of bed before I come in there
Brynn: fine
Brynn got up and got dressed I went and finished getting ready once Santana was done in the bathroom I went in, When I came out Santana was finishing braiding Brynn's hair
Santana: okay lets get going
We all went down to the lobby and met with the group then we went to the theatre we spent the next 4 hours rehearsing. When we got done we all headed back to the hotel. We had the rest of the day to hang out then the next day we had our compition.
Santana's POV
We had just gotten back to the hotel and Brittany, Tina, Quinn, Brynn, Mia and and I were in our hotel room watching tv
Quinn: we should find something to do, It's only 1:00
Tina: what are you thinking?
Quinn: we could go down to the pool
Brittany: that sounds like fun
Santana: what do you say girls
Mia: sounds like fun
Bella: yeah I'll go get changed
Quinn: how about we meet at the pool in 15 minutes
Tina: I'll stop by the boys rooms and let them know
Everyone left to go to their rooms to get changed. Brynn got up and went to her suit case and got her swimsuit after we were changed we all met at the pool. We had so much fun and not having to worry about anything and seeing Brynn smile and laugh was amazing. Once we were done swimming we all went back to our rooms and got dressed then we met Mr Shue and Miss Pillsbury in the lobby to go and get dinner.
Mr. Shue: okay we are going to go to Ellen's Stardust Diner
Brynn: what's that
Rachel: its a broadway kind of diner
Puck: and what do they do there
Rachel: they sing
Puck: how wonderful
Quinn: knock it off Puck
Puck: Your telling me that we came here to sing and now we have to go sit at a restuant and listen to people sing while we eat
Brynn: come on Puck it will be fun and maybe we can show them how its actually done
Puck: I knew there was something about your sister I liked Santana when I dated you
Santana: mmhmm sure you did
Brynn: you used to say I was an annoying brat
Puck: that was a long time ago
Brynn: it was just this summer
Puck: well I um
Santana: she's got you there Puck
Quinn: are you three ready or are you going to stand there and argue
Puck and I stood there looking at each other. Brynn walked ahead catching up with Tina. I turned around and walked over to Quinn taking her hand
Quinn: hey
Santana: hey
Quinn: so how are you feeling about nationals tomorrow?
Santana: I'm ready for it what about you
Quinn: I'm ready for it too, can't wait to see Brynn sing those duets
Santana: me too
We all got to the resturant and ate afterwards we walked back to the hotel
Mr. Shuester: okay everyone we need to meet down here at 7 am get some sleep tomorrow is a big day
We all headed to our room Quinn, Brynn and I got ready for bed Brynn got into mine and Quinns bed once she was ready
Santana: what are you doing
Brynn: sleeping here
Santana: why
Brynn: I want to
Quinn: are you nervous about tomorrow
Brynn: yeah, I'll be singing and play the guitar
Santana: trust me Brynn your going to do great
Quinn and I both got into bed and the three of us fell asleep
