Quinn's POV
Santana, Brynn and I were heading back to my house. Earlier that day my mom had text me to let me know that Santana and Brynn's mom had called her and wanted the girls to come back home. My mom didn't say if their dad was gone or not but Santana was going to tell Brynn while we were heading back to my house.
Santana: Brynn I need to tell you something
Brynn: What is it Tana
Santana: we have to go back home today
Brynn: why
Santana: mom wants us too
Brynn: I don't want to go back with mom I want to stay with Quinn
Santana: I know you do I want to stay with her too but we have to go home
Brynn: Is dad gone
Santana: I don't know
Brynn: then why are we going back
Santana: because we have too Brynn
Brynn quit talking after that and just sat in the back when I pulled up to my house we saw their mom's car. I got out and opened the back door for Brynn and held my hand out, Brynn took my hand and Santana came around and took Brynn's other hand. My mom and Maribel came out of the house.
Maribel: there's my girls, I've missed you both
Santana: I'm sure you did
Maribel: enough with being sarcastic Santana, You and Brynn go get your stuff so we can go home
I went with Santana and Brynn upstairs and Santana started putting all of their stuff into their bags Brynn sat on the bed and had tears running down her face.
Quinn: what's the matter Brynn
Brynn: I don't want to go home I want to stay here with you
Quinn: I know Brynn but you have to go
Santana: Brynn can you go get our stuff out of the bathroom please
Brynn got up and walked out of the room
Santana: I don't think our dads gone
Quinn: why do you say that
Santana: moms angry, she's only like this when he's home and has been drinking
Quinn: what can I do
Santana: nothing right now, but I'm scared Quinn
Quinn: I know you are, call me if anything happens okay
Santana: I will
Brynn walked back into the room and handed the stuff to Santana
Quinn: I'll be right back
I walked into my room and grabbed the stuffed monkey that Brynn had been using while she was here and walked back into the room that Santana and Brynn were in
Quinn: Brynn I want you to take this with you that way when you are feeling sad or scared you can hug it
Brynn: thank you Quinn
Brynn took the monkey and held it close to her. Santana picked up their bag and took Brynn's hand and they started walking back downstairs to where Maribel and my mom was waiting
Maribel: are you girls ready to go
Santana: sure
Maribel: lets go then
Brynn turned around and gave me a hug and I hugged her back.
Quinn: I'll see you tomorrow when I pick you up for school okay
