Chapter 11

Brynn's POV

after Santana and Quinn went upstairs Mrs. Fabray and I sat down at the table and she started talking to me, I don't know why but I felt safe with her too

Mrs. Fabray: It's been a long time since I have seen you, What grade are you in now?

Brynn: I'm a freshman this year

Mrs. Fabray: are you liking it

Brynn: it's okay i guess

Mrs. Fabray: what's going on at school

Brynn: there's just some girls who are being mean to me, but Quinn and Santana have been helping me

Mrs. Fabray: good, I'm glad they are there to help me

Brynn: me too

Mrs. Fabray: Brynn can I ask you a few questions

I already knew what she was going to ask so I went ahead and told her yes

Brynn: yeah

Mrs. Fabray: how long has your dad been hitting you and Santana

Brynn: a long time, Santana and I never told anyone until a few days ago

Mrs. Fabray: what happened that made you and Santana tell someone

Brynn: Santana got into trouble for doing something Coach Sue told her to do and Santana got suspended, Mr. Figgins called our dad to tell him. Santana and I left school early and went home she told me to go straight to my room but dad wouldn't let me, he started to yell at us and then he started hitting us, I got the worst of it because he knew it would make Santana upset. I slept with her that night but dad was drunk and came in and hit us again. The next morning Quinn came over to pick me up and take me to school, she helped cover some of the bruises and took me to school. After one of my classes I was in the hallway and one of the girls came over to me and started making fun of me, I tried to leave but she wouldn't let me and started hitting me. Santana had just gotten to school after one of the students told Mr. Figgins what Coach Sue told Santana to do and was told she could come back. Her and Quinn saw what the girl was doing and stopped her, Mr. Shue and Mr. Figgins heard everything and came out. Mr. Figgins wrote a note about what happened and why I had a black eye to my parents and said that I needed to have it signed. Santana knew that our dad would be really angry so she decided that we couldn't go home. Santana had told Quinn and Puck what was happening at home Quinn told Santana that we could stay here and Puck forged my dads signature so that we didn't have to tell anyone what our dad was doing.

Mrs. Fabray: Why didn't you tell one of your teachers what your dad was doing to you and Santana

Brynn: Dad always said that if we told Santana and I wouldn't be able to live with each other again

Mrs. Fabray: What does your mom say when your dad hits you and Santana

Brynn: she's never home, and when she is she's always drunk just like dad, I don't believe her when she told Santana that she will make dad to leave

Mrs. Fabray: I don't want you to worry about going back home Brynn, You and Santana will stay here until I feel it's safe enough for you two to go home

Brynn: thank you Mrs. Fabray

Mrs. Fabray: since you are going to be living here I want you and Santana to call me Judy

Brynn: Thank you Judy

Mrs. Fabray: your welcome sweetie, you and Santana are going to stay here and you both will be safe

I got up and hugged Judy, and for the first time I felt safe with someone other than Santana, Quinn and Brittany. After I hugged her Santana and Quinn came into the kitchen
