Santana's POV
We had been sitting in the waiting room for about 30 min when Blaine and Mia walk in and comes over to us
Blaine: how is she
I didn't say anything I was scared that if I did I would start crying, I saw out of the corner of my eye that Quinn looked at me
Quinn: she's in surgery now
Mia: for what
Quinn: she has a broken arm
Doctor: Santana Lopez?
I looked over at Quinn and she stood up and took my hand and we walked over to the doctor
Doctor: Santana your sister started having some problems after she fell asleep so they took her for more scans, she has some bleeding in her stomach when she was kicked her lung got a tear in it so they are working on closing that tear up and putting another tube in her lung until its healed. Once they are done with that they will work on her arm
Quinn: thank you

The doctor walked away, I just stood there I didn't know what to say or do then everything came back to me trying to protect her when our dad would hit her, the late nights of staying up when Brynn had a nightmare, making sure she had food to eat, teaching her how to read and ride a bike, watching her learn how to play the piano and guitar, her telling me that she didn't care if I was dating boys or girls. I started to cry and I felt Quinn put her arms around me
Santana: I can't lose her Quinn
Quinn: you wont the doctors are taking care of her
Santana: I need my sister, She's the only family I have
Quinn: I know that and she's going to pull through you'll see, she is your sister after all. Brynn's a fighter
Santana: I know
Quinn: lets go sit back down
Quinn and I went and sat back down and soon Mr. Shuester and Miss. Pillsbury, Sam, Mercedes, Tina, Mike and Bella come into the waiting room
Santana: what are you guys doing here
Mr. Shuester: I got a call from one of the police officers and they told me what happened so I called Miss. Pillsbury and we came over
Noah: I may have called Mike and Sam and told them Brynn was hurt
Sam: so I called Mercedes
Mike: and I called Tina
Mercedes: and I called Britt, she will be here in a few minutes
Santana: you guys are the best
We all sat there for a few minutes and soon Brittany walked in
Brittany: hey San
Santana: hey Britt
Brittany: how is she
Puck: she's still in surgery
Quinn: she should be out soon
We all sat there for a little bit
Mia: this is my fault
Blaine: what's your fault
Mia: what happened to Brynn
Quinn: why do you think this is your fault
Mia: she told me her dad had been hitting her and told me not to tell anyone
