Santana's POV

Right before we had left for school my mom had sent me a text asking where Brynn and I were. I had sent a text back telling her we were staying at a friends house so that we didn't have to be around dad anymore. What Quinn doesn't know is that my mom is very rarely home she's always at work so she really doesn't know what our father has been doing. She had asked me to call her so I left Brynn in the room with Quinn and went and called my mom

Mrs. Lopez: Santana what is going on, what do you mean you are staying at a friends so you don't have to be around your dad anymore

Santana: He's mean mom, all he does is hit Brynn and I. I know what I did on the first day of school was wrong and I should have been grounded but what you don't know is that he beats us. I'm not going to let Brynn stay in that house if he's there

Mrs. Lopez: what do you want me to do Santana

Santana: I can't tell you what to do

Mrs. Lopez: is Brynn ok

Santana: she's scared, she has been from the first time he hit us

Mrs. Lopez: I'll take care of it Santana, I had a missed call from the school yesterday do you know why they called

Santana: Brynn is being bullied she has since the 5th grade. Yesterday one of the girls that bullies her hit her. She had to have a note signed and they called dad. She was terrified so I took her to my friends house and we had a friend sign your name on the note.

Mrs. Lopez: I'm sorry Santana

Santana: please don't say your sorry that wont fix anything, Brynn and I need you to protect us

Mrs. Lopez: I will Santana, can you and Brynn stay at your friends house tonight and I'll call you when it's safe enough for the two of you to come home

Santana: yes we can, mom I have to go we need to get to school

Mrs. Lopez: ok I'll talk to you later

After I hung up with my mom I went into the bedroom and then we all left for school

Quinn's POV

Santana, Puck and I were in history and I wasn't liking how quiet Santana was being, so I decided to talk to her

Quinn: hey are you ok?

Santana: yeah

Quinn: you have been very quiet this morning

Santana: my mom called me this morning

Quinn: what did she want?

Santana: she was calling to find out where Brynn and I where

Quinn: did you tell her

Santana: I told her we are staying with a friend, She asked me why and I told her about our dad

Quinn: what did she say

Santana: that she was going to kick him out of the house so Brynn and I could go home

Puck: do you think she's going too?

Santana: I'm not sure, she said that she would call me once he's moved out. Can Brynn and I stay with you a few more days Quinn

Quinn: of course you can

Santana: when is your mom supposed to be back

Quinn: Monday, don't worry. I'm sure if we explain to her what's going on she wont mind
