With you( shadilver story)

sonic and shadow were waiting at the hospital incredibly worried. Sonic couldn't stop thinking about scourge, why he wanted Amy and silver.

Shadow covered his face and grunted, silver was hurt again and he wasn't there to protect him. Sonic sat down next to him and grabbed his shoulder, he gave him a look. But not a weird look of concern, it calmed shadow down.

A nurse came out and both the hedgehogs jolted up,

"you are able to visit now, both are still unconscious but not to worry..they are exhausted and their body needs rest. Just give them some time"

They both nodded and followed the nurse to a room, amy and silver were in the same room. Both of them had bandages, Amy only had a few on her arms and legs. While silver had ones on his arms, legs, and hands. They both looked awful.

Shadow and sonic both sighed, sat down and waited. waited and waited, for what felt like hours silver was finally waking up.

Silver groaned in pain as he slowly opened his eyes, shadow and sonic got up and rushed over to him.

"silver? It's okay you're safe now." Shadow said  while sonic was grabbing a nurse.

Silvers eyes suddenly widened, his face turned pale and he jumped up. He panicked and dragged himself off the bed falling to the floor.

"a-amy..!" Silver screamed, shadow gasped quickly picked silver back up and put him back in his bed.

Silver tried to push shadow away but shadow held him tight. "l-let go of me where's Amy!" silvers breath was getting heavier.

"Shhh..silver Amy is okay. She's right here." Shadow pointed to Amy and silver get less tense. His grip loosened and he started sobbing in shadows arms.

"it's okay silver, you're both going to be okay." Shadow held his hand and kissed his forehead.

Silver was struggling to get words out, shadow held him closer and tighter and he calmed down.

"I cant..I cant lose someone a-again I...after blaze I just- I was so scared.."

shadow stroked silvers quills, "I know silver, I know what that's like."

Silver snuggled closer to shadow, "I know you do.."

A couple of minutes after silver Amy woke up, the nurses were assisting both of them. Silver was able to walk up and hug Amy, he held her tight and so did she. They both started crying, apologizing to each-other even though none of it was anyone's fault. They both laughed and sighed, shadow and sonic looked at each other and smiled. But then gave each other a worried look,
"Should we tell them?" Sonic asked about scourge
"Not just yet. We should wait till they are healed a bit more."

Sonic nodded.

silver and Amy were allowed to go back home if they wanted to, they had injuries but they were fatal. Silver scratched his head,

"Hahh..ohh yea my house is in shreds." Silver looked down and sighed.

"You can stay with me." Shadow quickly answered.

He looked at shadow surprised, "a-are you sure? I don't want to be a bother.."

"I don't mind at all." Shadow held out his hand and silver grabbed it. Shadow pulled him in for a kiss which surprised silver, shadow picked him up and walked outside. They went towards shadows motorcycle, silver felt kind of nervous as he didn't have a lot of strength to really hold on.

Shadow looked at silver and smiled softly, "don't worry, I won't go too fast." He winked at silver who blushed,

They both got on the bike and silver held on shadow tight from behind, he rested his face on shadows leather jacket. He felt warm and silver loved his scent, he smelt like cigarettes. Silver didn't like smoking, or the fact shadow was smoking.. but it was a comforting smell to him.

They both arrived at shadow house, shadow helped silver get off of the motorcycle and held his hand. Silver smiled at shadow who was walking them both inside. Silver sighed,

"Thanks Shad's..this means a lot."

Shadow brushed silvers muzzle,

"Anything for you, I'm glad you're here..my bed is empty without you." He smiled

Silver let out a small purr and kissed shadow, he wrapped his arms behind his neck to reach him higher. Shadow slipped his tongue in silvers mouth and grabbed his waist. Silver yelped, shadow stopped

"are you okay?"

"Y-yeah sorry I'm just very sore.."

"ah..I'm sorry I forgot." He brushed silvers quills and kissed his forehead gently.

he giggled, "it's okay..I think I'm going to lay down for a bit. It's getting late anyway.."

"I'll take you, don't push yourself so much" he gently picked up silver.

Silver hugged around shadow and blushed, he loved being held by him. Shadow walked up the stairs to the bedroom and slowly laid silver down,

"thank you shadow.." he sighed as he snuggled into the sheets. Shadow turned off the lights and joined him, he held him from behind very slowly and gently which silver absolutely loved.

Shadow kissed silvers shoulders and rubbed his stomach.

Silver giggled, "you're very needy today.."

"I missed you.." shadow playfully bit silvers shoulders

Silver flinched a bit and blushed, "shadow!" He pulled his arm away and faced shadow who was smiling.

"ow you jerk" shadow grabbed silvers face,

"that's just my way of showing love" he smirked and silver pouted and dug his face in the others chest fur.

Shadow held him close and finally asked,

"what happened?"

Silver looked up at him confused, shadow sighed.

"today, with those black cats."

Silvers expression immediately changed, his ears folded down and he sighed.

"Well..I don't really know. All I remember is seeing these people outside, Amy called you guys but they already got in. They broke the window and grabbed Amy, of course i immediately attacked..but.." silver held his head in frustration.

"it's okay, take your time." Shadow said calmly.

He sighed again, "they use this..whistle? Something..it was so loud..it hurt so bad. Amy and I both fell to the floor screaming, then they tried to grab me too. They knocked out Amy and I tried to fight back, it was just so difficult to with that painful noise they had the advantage and got me pretty hurt. They stopped using the whistle and just pounced on me, saying nasty things about me and Amy.."

He looked up to see shadows angry face, he couldn't believe what had happened. Especially after what happened with mephiles,

"what nasty things?" Shadow asked in a stern voice.

Silver gulped and looked away from shadow,
"t-they kept mentioning "boss"..and how he was going to "love his new toys."..they just kept pointing out our bodies and they tried to touch amy. That's when I got infront of her and I guess when you guys arrived..and I passed out.." he tightened his grip on shadow with tears forming.

"I-It was so scary..." shadow held up silvers head and kissed him, he wiped his tears and brushed his quills.

"I'm so sorry silver..I was scared of this happening again. I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you guys. You both didn't deserve any of that, you're very strong."

A smile appeared on silvers face, "thank you shadow but..you cant always be there..don't blame yourself." He rested his head on the others chest again.

Shadow rested his face on silvers head,,
"But I want to be, I want to protect you."

silver didn't respond, shadow looked down to see him fast asleep quietly purring. He smiled and kissed his head, slowly drifting to sleep.
