both hedgehogs woke up and got ready to go shadows job at G.U.N. Silver wore yoga pants and shirt for training, and shadow just dressed in his usual uniform.

shadow and silver walked into the training room to meet rouge, sonic wasn't there yet.

"Hey boys, nice to see you're doing well silver!" She went over to hug them, shadow groaned and tried to shove her away but silver chuckled and hugged her back.

"Gee, also where's sonic?" Rouge asks letting go of the hug.

Shadow sighed, "despite his speed he always seems to be late."

"That's how he rolls.." silver said placing his bag of clothes he will change into later.

"Well besides that, I'll be in the room right infront of you guys. There's a window and speaker so I'll be able to make sure sonic doesn't shatter your body."

"Hey! I'll be perfectly fine, I can do more than just use my powers!" silver pouted shoving his finger in shadows face.

"we will see about that" he smirked flicking silvers head as he stepped inside of the room, he slapped some paperwork on the table he needed to fill out.

"Ow! Stop doing that.." his ear perked as he heard the door open, he turned around to see sonic. He dashed in with silver and rouge, giving them both a hi five.

"what's up guys! Are you ready to get your butt kicked silver?"

"I don't know are you?"

"Haha al—" sonic was interrupted by the speaker coming from the room shadow was in.

"this time there will be rules, silver as you already know..NO POWERS. This is all physical ability and strength. And sonic, go easy on him."

both silver and sonic groaned while rouge laughed.

"well, you boys have fun. Business calls, love ya!" Rouge waved goodbye to them all as she flew out of the room.

Sonic and silver stood opposite of each-other preparing for training, a buzz sound went off and sonic went for the first hit. Silver had fast reflexes, he could see each one of his hits to block them.

"Nice reflexes..but dodge THIS" sonic went for a kick but silver jumped back and smirked.

Sonic chuckled, "huh..alright"

Silver jumped back and continued the fight with sonic.

Shadow watched as they both dodged each others attacks, then finally sonic got a hit on silver right in the gut pushing him back.

"Finally! I thought I was never going t—OOEF!"

Silver shot back at sonic kicking his face pushing him onto the ground.

"Never take your eyes off the target" silver said with cockiness.

"You little!" Sonic pounced on silver tackling him to the ground. Both tussled around the floor before sonic pinned silvers hands and legs on the floor.

"HA! I GOT YOU NOW!"

"NOT FAIR LEMME GO!" Silver tried to get sonic off, but sonic was putting all his weight on him.

"Sonic." Shadow used the speaker. Sonic jumped a little and let go of silver, he slowly turned to the window.

"I said easy." Shadow said in an irritated tone.

Sonic nervously chuckled, "sorry shadow, I forgot" he held his hand out for silver to help him back up, silver grabbed his hand and sighed of relief.

"I was so close to beating you, I was gonna bite your arm if you didn't let go"
