You were starting to get very worried. Miguel hasn't responded to your texts or calls all day. You don't want to sound like a psycho girlfriend but he always answers when you call or text. You decide that your coming over. So you text him even though he's not gonna answer
Y/N- "Miggy I coming over. Your starting to worry me 🥺."
You waited 10 mins for a response and you got nothing. So you walked outside and got in your car and drove over there.
*Skip 10 mins*
You knocked on the door to be greeted by Carmen (his mom).
Y/N- Hello Mrs.Díaz is Miguel home?
She smiled
C- Yes he's in his room. He hasn't come out all day though which is unusually.
You nodded and she let you in. You took off your shoes and walked over to Miguel's door and knocked on it. You heard shuffling and he opened the door. He looked terrible. He was super pale, his hair was a messy and his nose was super red.
Y/N- Miggy...
You touched his face and he felt super hot.
Y/N- Migs your burning up...
He just half smiled
M- I know. I didn't want you to come over here since I was sick that's why I haven't texted you all day.
You chuckled
Y/N- Miggy I don't care if I get sick. I would take the risk of getting sick so I can take care of you.
He just smiled and moved out the door way so you could walk inside his room.
The first thing you did was go to the bathroom and open the cabinets to grab some cold medicine.
Y/N- Miguel have you taken anything today? Or eaten?
You looked over at the bed and saw him wrapped up in his blankets like a burrito.
M- No I haven't...I just feel so nauseous.
You frowned and left the bathroom then his room and got a water bottle and some crackers. You were about to walk back in when Carmen stopped you.
C- Hey, Y/N I just got called into work so could you stay the night and take care of Miggy. I heard you guys talking and he's sick and I don't want him to be alone. He has a track record of not taking care of himself.
You smiled and nodded
Y/N- Of course.
She smiled and waved bye as she left. You walked into Miguel's room to see that he wasn't on the bed anymore and the bathroom door was shut. You were about to knock when you heard throwing up.
Y/N- Miggy you ok?
M- No
You heard him start throwing up again. You opened the door to your surprise it was unlocked. You set the water and the crackers down on the counter. Then you sat down by Miguel. You took the pony tail off your wrist that you carry at all times and tied his front pieces back so it they wouldn't be in his face. Then you started rubbing his back.
*Skip 5 mins*
You were on your phone still rubbing Miguel's back when you heard the toilet flush. You watched as Miguel lifted his head from the toilet. He started to stand up so you removed your hand from his back and stood up as well. He walked over to the sink and started brushing his teeth. When he was done he turned to you.
M- That sucked shit
You chuckled and handed him the water and crackers and the medicine you got.
Y/N- Drink this and eat these they won't upset your stomach and then take the medicine.
He smiled
*Skip 30 mins*
You were laid on your back and Miguel was laying on top of you. You guys were just talking.
M- I'm tired...
You hummed and kissed his head softly
Y/N- Then you to sleep...I'll be here all night
You laughed
Y/N- Ma's orders
Miguel chuckled
M- I love my madre so much
You chuckled and started playing with his hair and not even 2 mins later you heard snoring.
*Skip 2 hrs*
Miguel had woken up to use the bathroom and so when he was done you went as well. You laid back down and he laid on top of you again.
M- Thanks for taking care of me...
You smiled
Y/N- No problem...it's my pleasure
He chuckled
M- I love you...
You smiled really really big that's the first time he's said it or anyone has said it. He could feel your heart beat faster and that's when he realized what he said. You felt his body tense.
M- I'm sorry-
You cut him off
Y/N- I love you too..
You felt him relax again
M- Good otherwise that would have been really awkward.
You chuckled and started playing with his hair.
M- Goodnight and I love you
You smiled
Y/N- Goodnight and I love you too...
