It's the morning of your exam. Getting up you made sure you had everything you needed ready for the day. Wearing your current school uniform, you head to the kitchen. Your Dad was there setting out the breakfast he made. Usually you would cook, just to give the man a break since he worked very hard. However, since today was your recommendation exam, he told you he would cook breakfast. He had made omelets, miso soup and white rice. Sitting down, both of you enjoy a nice meal. After, both of you grab what you need and head to UA. Since you arrived a bit early, he allowed you to wait with him in the teacher's lounge until you had to head to the exam area. He had gotten approval from Nezu for this too.
You were slightly nervous for the exam but you were confident in your abilities. Mezo and you have been working hard to prepare for these exams. Since you were recommended, your exam was the day before the typical entrance ones. Mezo originally offered to walk you to the exams, but you wanted him to spend the day resting and finishing any preparations for his exam. Plus your dad ended up asking you to come with him.
Since the teachers lounge was a different room from their office room, only a few teachers would come in. It was kind of amusing watching your Dad explain why you were here and that Nezu permitted this. At the moment Snipe, Cementoss and Vlad King were in the lounge. Suddenly Midnight and Present Mic walk in. Apparently they heard you were here in the lounge and wanted to say hi. Mostly Midnight wanted a hug, she was very affectionate and you were fine with that.
"(y/n), my little cutie! Excited for the exams?" She swooped you in a hug.
"Sure." You shrugged with your response. You weren't excited but you weren't scared of it either, just slightly nervous of how it'll go.
"Come on, have more enthusiasm little listener!" Present Mic was awfully loud, so much so that Dad did his signature quirk activated glare. You just sweatdrop, your natural resting face already looked like you were deadpanning at him.
"I'm sure she's just nervous, but she'll do great! After all there's such a youthful glow to her fighting spirit, it makes me excited just watching!" Midnight excitedly responds to Present Mic. When watching you spar, she always states you have a youthful glow in your fighting spirit. You still don't understand how she saw a youthful glow in your fighting but whatever, it's Midnight.
By now the other teachers knew you were here because Aizawa had permission from Nezu to allow you to wait here for your exam. They didn't know you knew Midnight or Present Mic though. They were already fairly surprised that Aizawa brought you and got permission for you.
"Must you two always be so loud and energetic in the morning?" Aizawa was certainly not a morning person, well he wasn't much of an awake person either.
"Aww come on! We're just excited to see our niece! Especially since we waited like 2 years to see her take the exam!" Present Mic's words made the other teachers shocked. Niece? Waited 2 years? What was he going on about?
You became a bit flustered, especially when he called you his niece. It was still new to you. Having people so excited to be family with you was so different. Aizawa sighed, tired of Mic's loudness.
"Wait, she's your niece?" Vlad King asked the golden question, the one everyone had.
"Yup! Erasurehead adopted her about 2 years ago! A bit after I planned on recommending her here. She's basically our niece." Midnight shrugged casually after giving them some shocking information.
"Never thought you'd adopt a kid Erasurehead." Cementoss gave his own input, to which Dad grunted.
"It was a rational choice." His response didn't give much information.
