"And Scooter goes for the out" the announcer says as I see Scooter collapse on the field. Without thinking I scream and take off onto the field thinking the worst. When I get there his knee is clearly dislocated and he is starting to cry. "Someone call an ambulance" the sports medicine lady says as they wheel him off the field. I run off with him taking his hand in mine. The ambulance pulls up and I jump in standing next to him. "It's hurts so bad" he whispers tears still on his eyes. "I know babe, on the plus side your adorable when you cry" I say making him chuckle. "I'm glad my pain makes you happy" he jokes back.

"He's going to be out for the season" the doctor tells me as Scooter sleeps beside me. That's going to kill him. Scooter wakes up soon after looking up at me. "Hey beautiful" he says. "Hi" I start "the doctor came in..." I trail off. "Oh what'd he say?" "You have to take the season off" "Oh" he says sounding less disappointed than I thought. "Are you happy?" I ask. "Eh. Just means I get more time with you" he says smirking. Wow. "I love you" I tell him placing a kiss on his lips.
