"Just tell him when he gets home" Amber tells me on the phone. "I know but I don't know how like what 'Hey babe I've been pregnant for 2 months now and I'm just now telling you but I love you' that's ridiculous Amber" "Well it wasn't my choice to wait this long! You should've told him the day you found out like most people!" "I'm not most people" I sass before hanging up and heading upstairs. I plug in the curling wand and get changed into a dress while it heats up. I apply mascara before taking the wand and curling my hair. Gotta look nice when you make your husband mad right?
"Baby I'm home!" James calls like he does everyday. "Hey" I say as I walk into the kitchen where he is getting a drink. "Why are you all dressed up?" he asks, stepping closer to me. I quickly glance down noticing that this dress is a little tighter then I had hoped. I knew the baby bump was starting to show but I've been wearing loose, flowy shirts for the past few weeks to cover it. "C-can we talk?" I stutter out and he wraps me in a hug and I can practically feel his suspicions rising. He looks down at me to continue and I look down and hold my stomach. "I uh- I've been keeping it from you for awhile because I know you're gonna be mad and you're gonna hate me and-" "Stop rambling babe, what is it?" "I'm pregnant" I whisper loud enough for him to hear. I brace myself for the screaming about forgetting my birth control and not telling him but I don't expect what comes. His arms wrap around my waist as he picks me up. He spins me around before stopping and kissing my lips. His soft lips pull away before finding mine again and he talks against the kiss. "I'm so glad baby, I love you so much, You're gonna be a great mom, the list goes on as he trails to my neck and I let out a moan before he pulls away and sets me down. "So you aren't mad?" "No, why would I be mad?" "I'm 2 months." His face drops a little but he smiles again "Well that's 2 less months I have to wait"
