Mercy and Eric

"M I have to go to the hospital to visit the kids did you want to come?" Eric asks walking into the living room pulling a beanie on his head. "Ya I'll come just come here first" I hold out my arms which he accepts for a hug and I peck his cheek. "I love the beanie look" I say before running upstairs to change, looking back to see him smiling and adjusting his hat choice to better show his hair.

"Babe this way and can you take pictures for me to post?" "I can but I don't want to" I smile taking his hand. "Why not? I need them to show I do stuff in the community" "I know I'm joking. Do you want them on my phone or yours?" "Doesn't matter just take mine so if it goes off it's not annoying me" he hands me his phone which I slip in the pocket not occupied by my phone. "Hey guys what's up?" Eric says walking in to a room filled with kids all in masks and gowns and different tubes and wires hooked up to their bodies. It was sad but the looks on their faces when Eric walked in was priceless. I've never seen so many kids so happy at the same time over the same thing. "Guys this is my girlfriend Mercy she's gonna be taking pictures but don't worry about her she's cool" he laughs winking at me.

"That was so sweet I didn't know that many kids were actually there" I say in awe as we walk to the car. "Ya there's a lot but I definitely have my favorites who come everytime I'm there. Like that kid in my shirt, his name's Eric too and he says he wants to be like me one day" I smile at him while he drives home. He's always so happy after visiting the kids it's like his whole attitude on life changes for a day. "Mercy?" "Ya Eric?" "Would you ever want kids one day? I know we aren't married but like one day? Next year, 5 years from now?" he rambles on before I lean over kissing his cheek. "Ya I'd love to have kids one day, next year or 5 years from now" He brings my hand to his lips kissing my knuckles. "I love you Mercy" "I love you too Eric"
