"GAHH" Scooter screams bringing his glove to his face. "OH MY GOD" I scream running on to the field. Expecting it to be worse I bend down to the ground taking my husbands face in my hands. I pull his glove away to see an already bruised eye and a cut by his nose. "Babe are you ok?" I ask his making sure he is consious. "I think so" he mutters "but shit that hurt" he chuckles. The sports medicine lady shines a light in his eye and does all her doctor stuff. "He should be ok but I think he needs to take some time to fully recover and make sure he will be good for a game" she explains "15 day DL for sure" she continues standing up and pulling Scooter up with her. I stand up taking his hand and guiding him off the field. He wobbles a little, clearly dizzy from the impact. I sit im down in the locker room and head towards the coolers to get him some water. I sit down next to him taking his hand. "Well, 15 more days for you to help me get a nursery ready" I say smirking. "Wait- you- I- your pregnant?" he finally gets out. "Yes" I say and he jumps up quickly sitting back down. "That wasn't the best idea" he muuters "but baby i love you and I'm so happy. We are gonna raise the best little baseball star!"
