Kenzie and Kevin

"Steven what time is your game?" I ask him dragging my suitcase through his door. I am home on break after my first year of college and I'm staying with my older brother, who happens to be THE Steven Souza Jr. "It's at 1:10 so if your coming get your butt ready we are leaving in 20 minutes." I run into the guest bedroom pulling out my Souza jersey and jean shorts. I get dressed and quickly run a flat iron through my hair. As I finish Steven tells me it's time to go so I grab my phone and follow him to the car. "KENZIEEE" the team shouts as I walk in the dugout. "Hey guys I missed you!" I laugh going around and hugging everyone. The last person to hug is Kevin. God I've missed him. "Welcome back beautiful" he whispers in my ear sending shivers down my body. "I missed you too Kevin" I say stepping out of his arms. "NOW YA'LL NEED TO PRACTICE!" I yell smacking some of their backs to get going.

-After Game-
"Good job!" I say walking to the car. "Thanks sis" Steven says playfully shoving me. I shove him back and he looks at me. "Shove me again and you can't go to Kevin's barbeque tomorrow" he threatens. He's known about my little crush, well big crush, on Kevin since before I left a year ago. I roll my eyes getting in the car. When we get home I pull on nike pros and find a Rays hoodie in the closet. This smells like Kevin. I try to ignore it telling myself it's just Steven's but I can't help myself as I pull the hoodie on and climb into bed. I envelope myself in Kevin's scent, curling up, and slowly drifting to sleep.

-Barbeque-
I join the spouses and girlfriends in some chairs around the pool. We make plans to go to the mall then lay down to tan. We get in about 10 minutes before all the boys pick us up and throw us in the pool. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!" I scream turning around to see who threw me. I spot Kevin sitting in the grass staring at me and he looks to Steven telling me it was him. I get out and shove Steven in, grabbing a towel and making my way to Kevin. "Thanks" I tell him taking a seat next to him. "Anything for you" he tells me and I feel my cheeks get red. He lets out a slight laugh standing up and taking my hand. "Come with me" he says and pulls me up. Never letting go of my hand he leads me behind a shed and puts his other hand on my cheek. "I've missed you way too much" he mutters connecting our lips.
