backstory ~ Evelyn Murdock is Matt Murdock's daughter. She's partially blind and has been since birth. They recently moved, coincidentally closer to MIT where Evelyn would be starting. She becomes good friends with Peter Parker ever since he helped her find her way around MIT because of her sight loss.

Evelyn's POV:

"I'm leaving dad!!" i called, putting my coat and scarf on before grabbing my bag.

"Bye Ev, have a good first day, and be nice!" he said, hugging me before going back to his case discussion with Foggy.

I got halfway to school before realising i didn't have my cane, but today my sight wasn't all that bad so i just carried on.

When i finally got to school, i followed the directions that the email had told me and i found myself standing in front of the office.

"Good morning hun, how can i help you?" the lady asked.

"Hi, i'm Evelyn Murdock? It's my first day and i was told someone would be showing me around?" i smiled nervously.

"Oh! Yes, hold on give me a second" she said, picking up the intercom microphone.

"Could Peter Parker please make his way to reception please? Peter Parker to reception. Thank you"

A few minutes later a boy with short brown hair came walking towards me.

He exchanged a few words with the receptionist and she handed him a few pieces of paper, before she turned to me.

"Enjoy your first day honey" she smiled.

"Thank you!" i smiled back, before turning to the boy.

"Hi, i'm Evelyn. Evelyn Murdock. " i said, holding my hand out.

"I'm Parker Peter. I-I mean Peter Parker" he said nervously , taking my hand and shaking it.

I smiled, and he handed me one of the pieces of paper the receptionist gave him.

"This is your timetable, you can have a digital version if you'd prefer it, it will cost you a few trivia questions from the computer students, it's like a right of passage because the popular kids used to take advantage of their skills. They're actually pretty cool guys when you get to know them." he said, gesturing for us to walk.

I thanked him and we started walking down the corridor. At first i was confused as to why it was so empty but then i realised we were in the middle of a lesson period, since i've joined 2 months after the start of the year.

It's easier this way for me so i get my bearings for if i'm having a bad sight day.

"So, what made you come to MIT?" he asked me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Well, me and my dad moved here from Hell's Kitchen because he's a lawyer and a new position opened up here for him and his firm parter Foggy. And we're closer to my aunt, his sister, Melanie, so she can help out with certain things because my dad's blind." i explained.

"Your dad's a blind lawyer?" he asked.

"Yeah, i'm partially blind too, that's why i don't have a cane- well i do have one, i just forgot it today" i rambled.
