Amber Holland woke bright and early and just lay contently in her fallen tree before hearing the chime of a sponsor again. That was a positive of being a Victor's child, she didn't even have to try to get sponsors, she just got them.

Inside, there were four more packets of dry food. She smiled up at the sky, at a camera, and nodded in thanks. She stuffed three in her bag and ate one for breakfast whilst she walked.

She set a fire as a distraction again before running far enough to light another. She used the second fire to cook her squirrel before shoving it in her bag, putting out the fire, and running off again. She looked in the direction of the first fire to see it was still burning. Either no one had found it or the careers had found it and were using it to lore people in.

Her mental question was answered when a cannon went off.

Eighteen dead.

To Amber's surprise, another cannon went off.

Nineteen dead.

Does that mean another career had died whilst fighting?

The rest of the day was uneventful, the cameras mostly stayed with the career pack as they searched in bloodthirst for Amber.

By nightfall, the sky revealed the deaths of the day. The second tributes from eight and three.

This meant it was Amber, the boy from seven, and three careers. Frightened by the thought but exhausted from sleep deprivation, the girl slept with her acid water bottle right beside her. She ate a dry food pack before going to sleep.

The following day went without any extra deaths.

However, she was woken with a start the next morning by a cannon to find the tribute from seven dead by her feet, her flask of water in his hand.

Twenty dead.

She raised a shaky hand to her mouth to stop the horrified gasps from escaping, that's not exactly what you want to wake up to in the morning.

Then it dawned on her, it was just Amber and the three Careers left.

With that idea in mind, she decided it was time to flip the table. She was done being hunted, she'd become the hunter. If the Capitol wanted a show, that's what they'd get.

She had a large breakfast eating a whole squirrel and a dry food pack, leaving just one pack left for emergency. She hoped and prayed today would be the last day.

She missed home. She missed her family.

Her father, Jared Holland, and the way she'd watch with a smile as he threw Cole into the air and caught him again as the little boy squealed and giggled, 'again, again.'

Cole, sweet little innocent Cole. She enjoyed being around the child because unlike the rest of the Holland family, he was yet to be scarred by the truth of the Games. He still saw sunshine and rainbows, it was refreshing. She didn't want to miss him growing up.
