The next morning, sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. Robby was already dressed and ready for the day, his energy contrasting sharply with Odette's reluctance to leave the comfort of her bed. She lay curled up under the blankets, her face half-buried in her pillow, her breathing slow and even as she clung to the last remnants of sleep.

Robby stood by the bed, a small smile playing on his lips as he watched her.

"Odette, wake up." He called, reaching out and gently shook her shoulder.

Odette responded with a series of incoherent mumbles, her words slurred and unintelligible. She turned away from him, burying her face deeper into the pillow and muttered something under her breath that even Robby couldn't decipher. He chuckled, shaking his head at her stubbornness.

Not one to give up easily, Robby decided to try a different approach. He climbed onto the bed beside her, lying down so that his body was pressed against hers. He wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her closer, his forearm resting reassuringly across her stomach. Then, he began to press soft, lingering kisses along her collarbone, his lips warm against her skin.

"I hate you." Odette muttered as a small smile tugged at the corner of her mouth, though she tried to hide it buy curling deeper into her pillow.

Robby smirked, undeterred by her half-hearted protest. He shifted so that he was hovering over her, his body caging her in as he continued to trail kisses up her neck and toward her forehead. His movements were slow and deliberate, each kiss a silent declaration of his affection.

Odette's smile widened despite herself, and she finally opened her eyes to meet his gaze. Robby's eyes softened as he stopped what he was doing, his hand gently cupping her cheek to turn her face toward his.

"I love you too." He said in a mixture of both warm and sincere.

Odette rolled her eyes, though the fondness in her expression was unmistakable. She leaned forward, closing the distance between them and kissed him. This time, her lips moved against his with more passion, the kiss lingering longer than before. Robby's hands instinctively found her hips, his fingers tightening slightly as he tried to deepen the kiss.

But just as he was about to pull her closer, Odette broke away, her laughter ringing out as she slipped out from under him and jumped off the bed.

"Come on, let's get ready for the day." She announced, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Robby stared at her, his frustration evident as he sat up on the bed. "Teasing is also very rude."

Odette laughed, the sound light and carefree as she headed toward the door.

"You'll survive." She called over her shoulder, her grin widening as she disappeared into the hallway.

Robby sighed, running a hand through his hair as he watched her go. Despite his frustration, he couldn't help but smile. Odette had a way of keeping him on his toes, and as much as he might complain, he wouldn't have it any other way.
