Hoseok stares out at the Eiffel Tower from the room's balcony solemnly, sitting with his knees propped up under his chin with a glass of wine resting on the table. He closes his eyes for a brief moment, enjoying the silence surrounding him as the moon rises to the sky slowly.

"Hey..."

He doesn't respond to the man, opting to look up at him with just a small smile. It doesn't reach his eyes, the heart on his lips only noticeable faintly.

"You don't look so happy. All good?"

Yoongi questions, sitting down on the opposite side with a can of beer. The brunette sighs as he turns back to stare at the bustling city.

"I wish we could stay here longer. I don't want to go back tomorrow."

He whispers, eyes trained on the tall love building that stands proud in a distance. The silver haired male smiles, sipping on his bitter substance.

"We can always come back, Hoseok."

He says, his own gummy smile not visibly reaching his eyes. The younger chuckles, looking back at his husband with a raise of eyebrows.

"Not me, Yoongi. I'm only supposed to enjoy these luxuries for a year maximum, remember? Besides, I'm not destined for such a lavish lifestyle, I'm just happy I had a temporary escape from all the responsibilities that I carried on my back for all these years."

This time, though the smile looks somewhat painful, it still reaches the brunette's eyes. Yoongi stares at him silently, opening the third can for the night.

"Do you drink, doll?"

Hoseok rests his head on his knees, pouting slightly. He remembers his first legal birthday he had spent with his grandmother.

"I've only ever been drunk once in my lifetime, on my 21st birthday that is. Me and my grandma stayed up late that night so that I can try alcohol without my sister. It was the night I found out that I have very low tolerance to alcohol and my grandma had a hard time handling me."

He laughs, the sound of joy lasting barely a few seconds before he's taken back to the memories of the woman who cared for him so much.

He misses her a whole lot.

Noticing the shift in air, Yoongi hands him a can of beer. Hoseok looks at him with a frown, did the silver haired man not hear about his low tolerance?

"Y-Yoongi?"

"To the last night of our honeymoon in Paris."

He utters and raises his can, looking at the smaller expectantly. The brunette hesitates before taking a deep breath and toasting the cans. They down the beer in a go, Hoseok coughing up after.
