Lizzie's POV: Blinking my eyes open groggily, I immediately shut them as the sun hit my eyes, causing a groan to escape my lips as I rolled over in bed in attempt to fall back to sleep. Dozing off once more, I winced as a door slammed, the noise thundering against my eardrums as a sharp pain went through my head. "Son of a bitch", I moaned, pressing a hand against my head.
"Are you feeling any better", I heard someone ask, causing me to force my eyes open to stare into concerned green eyes.
"Am...am I dead", I blinked, staring up at them in confusion before noticing someone else in the corner of the room, eyeing me with a hint of amusement.
"No", the other person answered, chuckling slightly. "Although I wouldn't be surprised that you feel that way considering the amount of alcohol you consumed last night", he commented, as I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"You don't remember", Landon frowned, sharing a glance with Rafael as I looked between the two, trying to figure out if this is all just some strange dream.
Because why else would I wake up surrounded by dead people unless the necromancer managed to escape the prison world.
I frowned at the thought before Landon shoved a couple of pills into my hands. Sitting up in bed, I eyed the pills in suspicion before glancing up at him weirdly. "It's just Ibuprofen", he explained, handed me a glass of water as I hesitantly popped the pills into my mouth before gulping down half the glass of water.
"Thanks", I nodded, handing the glass back. "But does anyone want to tell me where the hell I am", I asked, causing Rafael to snicker as Landon sent him a dirty look.
"You don't remember", the hobbit asked as I furrowed my eyebrows.
"You drank too much last night, so Lan and I brought you to our room", Rafael explained, causing me to raise my eyebrows slightly before glancing down at myself.
"So...I didn't die", I questioned them uneasily.
"Uh...no", Landon answered, frowning in confusion.
"Wait. You didn't think to ask me before bringing me here", I asked them in annoyance.
"What? Oh, no...we didn't...um...", Landon stammered, his face reddening.
"You passed out", Rafael cut in.
"And that makes it better", I glared, my eyes burning with unshed tears as an intense heat filled my chest.
Am I crying?
"Hey, we didn't mean anything by it. W-we were just...", Landon stuttered, looking over at his friend for help as I wiped at my eyes, my frown deepening as the heat only intensified.
"Whatever", I dismissed, throwing the blankets off me aggressively before storming out of the room. Slamming the door on my way out, I raised my eyebrow as students stumbled out of my way as I stomped down the hall.
"Hope Mikaelson", a voice called out, causing me to raise my head to see Ms. Tig hurrying toward me. "My office. Now", she hissed, grabbing my arm as she lead me into her room, shutting the door behind her.
"Get off of me", I demanded, my voice coming out more of a growl as I snatched my arm out of her grip.
"You need to calm down. Now", she demanded as I clenched my fists angrily.
"Oh, go back to Japan. No one wants your skanky ass here anyways", I spat, watching her flinch as I caught the hint of fear behind her eyes, causing my shoulders to deflate as I took a step back, tears filling my eyes as the burning sensation seemed to fade. "I'm...I'm sorry, Ms. Tig. I...I don't know why I...", I choked out, wrapping my arms around myself.
